Default Should I buy Diptyque Volutes EDP If I own the EDT?

Hey guys so I own Diptyque Volutes in the edt form and enjoy it very much. But was wondering if I should also get the edp version, or are they smell too similar/identical to have both in my wardobe. Thanks in advance.....

Personally think it's worth having both. I find the EDP richer and longevity better

    I wrote about the differences.

    Search got my post.

The jist of it is that it's not simply an edt version the edp.

    for swap/sale:

    Yes -- it's much lusher

Thank you guys, got my new bottle of volutes edp the other say and must say they don't smell very similar to my nose at all. Can easily tell the two apart which I am really glad. Was afraid the Edp would just be a more intense and stronger version of the edt, which is not the case here. I should of already known since all the diptyque frags I have sniffed always smell almost like a completely different frag in the epd vs edt. None the less I am enjoying the Edp much more than the edt already. It doesn't have that loud screeching note in it that comes off very sharp which I think is the hay note in there cause I do get the same effect from chergui, which is what makes some people say it smells like hair spray. I find the epd darker and heavier I get a lot more deep dried fruits which almost gives off a plumy tobacco note. I even actually find the edp less fem even tho the iris is more amped in edp to my nose at first spray Dhi came to my mind for a sec I even smelled cedar, strange cause its not noted. Thanks for the advice

You're the only one who can make the decision. You just feel good about any decision you make and it'll all be alright. :-)

Its stronger and lasts longer, if you like the fragrance & have the funds then I would get both.
