Plenty of niche to choose from...

Amouage Epic is one to look into, as is Villoresi's Sandalo.

Looking further, there's Diptyque, L'Artisan and MPeG to choose from. Not mentioning Frederic Malle.

Try Chypre Palatin - also a nice all rounder.

It's there... here's the direct link... of course it's a less strong than the original (it is) but to me it's a super masculine scent that works well despite staying close to the skin.

My list is down to these:

    HDP - Hemingway and Casanova
    DK - Fuel for Men
    AF - Tzora
MKF - Lumiere Noire and Pluriel

I'm selling off some stuff currently and I plan to buy 2 or 3 of these on the above list. Thanks for all your help!

I like Lubin's Le Vetiver's line for a versatile, year round experience that won't cause your wallet to grieve too much. I don't think you can go wrong with either Itasca or Bluff, although I am a bit preferential to Itasca.
TF Extreme or the amazing Amouage Dia would probably also work.

    Idole - Lubin

    Oud Immortel - Byredo
Sel de Vetiver - The Different Company

Great recommendation. I love Italian Cypress, and frequently wear it to work or out.

In addition to the great suggestions so far, would love to add a few more:

    ADP Colonia and Colonia Assoluta
    La Martina Hombre
    Hugh Parsons Yellow
    Penhaligons Opus 1870
    Carthusia Uomo
    Jovoy Fougere

Most of these fragrances are office and/or work place appropriate, centered mainly around citrus, with the occasional hint of spice- mainly pepper, albeit an inoffensive, understated type, leather and/or fern.

Hey guys, when the dust settled, I ordered full size bottles of:

    Amouage Ciel Man
    Amouage Epic Man
    Serge Lutens 5 O'Clock Gigembre

Thanks for all your input! I actually have some cash left over for a couple of designer scents!

Bois d'Argent would be the perfect signature scent for me if I wanted one.

Scent is amazing. Performance is exceptional. Price is excellent.

    What more could you want?

Two great choices. I've really been enjoying Encre Noire Sport this summer. I'm curious to see how it performs in the cooler months -- something tells me it'll do just fine.

I couldn't agree more. I've been testing BdA for a while now and I just pulled the trigger on a large bottle. It's so good in so many ways.

Congrats! But Epic Man as an "every day, year round" scent? Wow - it really must have been reformulated!

I get what you're saying! I read so much about Epic Man that I was wooed to it! But, it will be a nice change up, anyway.

    You experience Encre Noire Sport?

Late to the party but my choices would have been:

TF Oud Wood or Italian Cyprus
    penhaligons Sartorial

For a designer I love Eternity.
