I've been on a Cosmair Polo bender lately. I also have Warner Polo, but I think Cosmair is holding up better over time. I now own 2 bottles of Cosmair Polo, with another on the way.

I own 3 bottles of Tom Ford Italian Cypress. IC and Polo are the most personally soothing scents I own. I should be good now...

I recently got backups for Frapin Speakeasy (partially for the scent itself, partially because it was a good bargain - an "investment", so to speak) and Patrick by Fragrances of Ireland - just in case they'll reformulate it or discontinue it.

I have a backup of Dior Homme Sport 2008, Dior Homme Sport 2012, D&G The One, Dirty English, and a few others that I can't think of at the moment.

I also have a backup of Creed Royal English Leather and Armani Cedre Olympe - I have been kicking around the idea of selling these however and using that money on some new things that I have my eye on.
    Current Winter Favorites:

    1. House of Matriarch - Blackbird
    2. Brückner - Aoud 1
    3. Creed - Royal Oud
    4. Stéphane Humbert Lucas 777 - Generation Man
    5. Armani Privé - Oud Royal

    7. Stéphane Humbert Lucas 777 - Mortal Skin
    8. Ormonde Jayne - Black Gold
    9. Creed - Royal English Leather

I've got a few back-ups including five bottles of Dior Homme Parfum as I heard a discontinuation rumour late last year (twice) which I've not yet been able to disprove...

You really like Patrick of Ireland
It is nice, but wait till you smell the other one.
I should prepare my own back up list. It is going to be really long.

I don't have back up bottles, but I prefer to have 2 similar scents in different concentrations. Such as edt and edp

Damn. I started to type it all out with percentages, amounts left, unboxed, or NIB, etc. Wow that's gonna take way too long. So instead I will just type what I have back ups of.

    3 Arpege pour Homme
    2 Burberry London
    2 Eau des Baux
    1 Live Jazz
    2 Zegna Uomo
    1 Horizon (Guy Laroche)
    1 Diesel Zero Plus
    1 Pure Coffee
    1 Ultra Zest
    1 24 Platinum
    1 Christain Audiger
    1 Nabeel Arab Tradition
    1 Corduroy
    1 Hanae Mori H.M. edt
    1 Demeter Pineapple
    1 Paris Hilton Just Me

    I think this is everything.
    My Ultimate Top 5:

    Fahrenheit (1988)
    Le Vetiver Itasca (2010)
    Arpege pour Homme (2005)

    I have:

2 bottles of vintage Fahrenheit (50ml and 100ml)
    1 pre-reformulation of Dior Homme (100ml)
1 pre-reformulation of YSL L'homme (100ml) (actually not sure whether this has been reformulated but I have whatever was released years ago)
1 Canali for men (100ml) - Not really a back up as I dont like this scent. The seller accidentally sent two and asked me to keep it
    1 Pure Malt
    1 Pure Havane
1 Gucci Pour Homme II (50ml)
1 Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin (50ml)
1 tin can Rive Gauche (125ml)
    1 Versace Dreamer (50ml)

You don't have to always like a 10. 5-6 need love too. Also buying 10 does not mean 6 should not be bought.

I like Beatles but also ace of base.
    I own both .

I have 1 back up bottle of A*men.
I have 2 bottles of reserves of decades old Shulton Old Spice Aftershave and a large classic bottle containing 5.5 ounces of the Shulton Cologne.
I have 2 bottles of backup reserves of Van Cleef & Arpels Midnight in Paris EDT
I have a 3.4 ounce reserve of a Collector's Edition Dolce & Gabbana "The One" EDT

I am considering purchasing some vintage, pre-modern formulation, versions of a handful of my favorite fragrances. I think any serious enthusiast will do this let alone even someone who wants to call themselves a collector. I consider myself a minor fragrance enthusiast and consider it 'essential' to have some special sauce put away and rarely used.
