    Default Creed Cedre Blanc opinions

Being the Creed lover I am I couldnt wait for the Aqua line this summer. After sampling Cedre Blanc I came home to continue sniffing the tester card and loved it. Once it got released i bought a bottle but after using it twice I hate it. It feels very cloying. Its a nice smell but I cant for the life of me figure out why its so overbearing.

I have a bottle and think it is very nice. I don't find it cloying at all. Perhaps this particular scent is just not for you.

I don't like anything from the new line. I'm a Creed fan, so I wonder if they will release any new frags in 2015.

    Same here.

The galbanum is off putting to me, but otherwise it's nice. I don't find it cloying at all.

It's great green, woody, creamy fragrance... if you like the galbanum.

I find the cedar in this surreal compared to most fragrances.

I don't care much for the opening, but the late dry down is very nice. Not full bottle worthy, for me.

I find nothing interesting in it. Put it on today, no sillage, no character.

Personally, I think it sucks! A thouroughly forgettable scent with ultra poor performance.

I like it. I don't quite love it, but I think it is a solid scent with decent longevity.

Haha yeah I'm on your side buddy. Not being impolite to anyone, I just don't see the need to sugarcoat an opinion...and my opinion is that Cedre Blanc absolutely sucks.

I've since change my opinion of Cedre Blanc. Originally the galbanum in the opening put me off of it, but for some reason my nose had an 'acceptance' moment with galbanum after being exposed to it for a while. If I had to guess it was the galbanum in the opening that was so cloying for the OP.

Now, the intense greenness intermixed with the woods leads to a great effect in the opening. The galbanum recedes after a while and what's left is, like I said, a soft, sorta creamy, semi-sweet, woods (with a little vetiver to give it that vetiver "feel) and some florals kinda tying everything together. The woods are a the perfect mix of sandalwood and cedar, very soft. Haven't smelled anything quite like it.

This is a simple fragrance, and that is its charm. Simple, soft, invigorating at first, comforting at the end.

Performance is not great. It projects for a few hours, but then soon dries down to a skin scent that does linger for 8+ hours. So, good longevity, but it's more of a personal scent. I've accepted this and am fine with it.

As you can tell, I've grown to really love this stuff!
