Default What is the best spray on fabric fragrance?

I think i was reading the guide and it was suggested a certain fragrance be sprayed on clothes to last longer.

I have my own reasons for spraying on clothes. I do not always do it as well.

Any ideas? I probably do not want to smell like febrezee. My favorite room spray that doubled as linen spray on the label was a lavender.
Currently wearing: CH Men by Carolina Herrera

You can spray any fragrance on clothes.

Spraying on clothes will make the fragrance last longer. If you spray a fragrance on your skin, it will make the fragrance last a shorter time mainly because of your skin heat.

    In essence - this.

Any fragrance except dark colored fragrances. They may stain clothing.

As others were saying. You won't get febreeze or anything if you spray your clothes, you'll get the smell of the frag. But simply, it will last longer because clothes are colder and often keep perfume better. So you can spray whatever you like most, as long as it doesn't stain. I sometimes spray inconspicuous parts of my shirt too (eg armpits). It gives a nice, somewhat subdued but persistent diffusion.

I imagine the suggestion was for a perfume that doesn't last long on skin, or that goes directly into the drydown, while one wants to smell the top for longer. Just remember that the smell will stay into the next day, so you cannot change the perfume as long as you're wearing that piece of clothing. Materials that last long on skin will last forever on clothes. If I spray a coat with Rien, it'll probably smell like that throughout the season.

You can spray any fragrance, but be careful with staining.
