Awesome photo (maybe not 'objectively', but for some reason I really like it).

Great to see another fellow 'musk-head'.

(I had MKK and Kiehl's. Recently went through a bottle of Kiehl's shower gel. Musc Ravageur is a favourite. NR for Him EdT & EdP are on my wishlist. Kouros is my all time #1 fave.

Btw - how is the sillage & duration of the two NR perfumes?).

    Many thanks!

Thanks, love musks, I used to have Musc Ravageur but on my skin it was way too sweet and cloying, my wife liked it so she got it.

On my skin both NR's seem to perform similarly, duration appears to be around 6/8 hours by which time, on me, it's a skin scent, not sure about sillage as I've not had anyone comment on it so not sure, I don't work in an office so I'm not working in close proximity to others plus I'm typically not an over sprayer.

BTW as you're a musk fan have you tried AA Indian Pure Musk Ghazelle, that's what the small gold topped bottle at the front is, I bought it from a fellow BN'er around 10 years ago. A toothpick size dot is all you need, good for layering with another scent but also good on it's own.

Thank you, I haven't tried it. BN-er Trebor once suggested it to me as an animalic musk, long time back. My tastes have changed a bit since then, but I'd be on the lookout for opportunities to try it.

P.S. It's uncanny how much our tastes might overlap, since I've gone through bottles of Dolce & Gabbana pour Homme and Terre d'Hermes, and also had and used Le Male for a while. I've also had, worn and loved M7 (one of my favourites) and M7 Fresh. M7 Fresh is very unique, almost nothing else like it.

A few of those I really don't wear anymore D&G and Le Male being 2 of them. I love M7 as does my wife, I got a bottle of M7 Fresh yesterday, I really like it.

I found it to be quite linear from start to finish, I didn't find it to be potent as some have indicated. My Musk Ravager bottle is the only item that I have left now from Barney's a bit of a sad thought.

I didn't know the name of the fragrance but recognized the house immediately from the shape of the bottle.

I've only tried one of their fragrances. Forget the name of it but it was very nice. A bit powdery. I should check out more of their offerings.
