If it's a bearded man, then I guess some fougères, maybe the "dirtier" ones. If it's a bearded hipster douche, then whatever unrelevant "underwear dropper".

In general and in theory, almost any or actually any other fragrance any clean shaven and/or man with any other beard/facial hairstyle would wear. However, from a more subjective viewpoint (even if it may sound terribly cliched, I know) mostly woody, resinous or vetiver-based fragrances, e.g. any Dsquared fragrance, Guerlain Vetiver and in fact almost any other designer and niche vetiver, Gucci PH I, Woods of Windsor Cedar Woods, C&E Sandalwood, Acca Kappa Cedro.

    Yatagan, for a man.

A modern "bearded hipster douche" would probably faint if he smelt this, especially in the vintage form.

I would envision the same for a clean shaven gent.

This is a funny question. My answer: whatever the hell that person wants. I'm bearded and I wear Habit Rouge and Shalimar edc. I also enjoy vetivers, musks, citrus based colognes. Since I've had many bearded friends and partners over the years who wore a wide range of fragrances, its difficult for me to associate a certain fragrance with a man just because he has a beard.

A beard isn't an accessory like a purse or belt which needs to be coordinated with the rest of your 'look' or with a fragrance. lol Rock that beard like you own it. You can have a beard like ZZ Top and still wear unisex frags and florals.

beautiful. But the river would be beautiful despite the fish. What
    is noxious remains so.

That is not to say that sh*t is not useful when buried in the wheat
field. Bread made from the field tastes sweet, wine from the arbor
sweetest. All things serve a purpose, but that is no reason to
glorify what is abominable. A man must still watch where he walks
    and keep his sandals clean.

Came here thinking basically this, you beat me to it again!

If you are forcing me to be cliche, OP, then I would say something like XJ Homme or Puredistance M, or any of the vetiver/tobacco/leather heavy frags on the market today. Powerhouses: a requirement I think.

One of my best friends has a thick beard and wears Santal 33, so I seem to associate that frag with a beard. It works really well too.

Actually to me there is no good or bad answer as to whether we should consider the fact that we wear a beard or not to decide our fragrance. Some people will associate a beard with one scent or a group of scents, maybe because of his youth how is was raised, and some ones will not see any link there.

I'm kind of on the fence here. I like to change my hair and facial hair style. Sometimes I wear whatever I want no matter if I'm shaven or not. But also sometimes the fact that I have a beard or not will change my "mentality" in my choices of scents. When I wear a beard sometimes I'll tend the wear more of my more "masculine", darker and/or woodier scents. While when I'm clean shaven I'll sometimes go more for .... "younger"?, fruitier, sweeter, not as "alpha male"/more unisex and cleaner scents.

OP: Just go with Slumberhouse Norne! The ultimate bearded man, woodman scent

I believe a more 'clean' fragrance for beards and vice versa without - in contrast to what other have said above. How about Neroli Portofino layered with the new beard oil?! Vastly over priced but a great fragrance...

Whenever I let my beard grow, I tend to dress in more blazers than normal. I'd say go upscale with the scent.

^^ Yes and what color your beard is.

Blonde beards require a different fragrance profile than say brown or ginger.

..and if your beard is grey, no reason to wear anything besides Old Spice.

    God I love it here!
