Very enjoyable opening shades, but in the end, they all lost their individuality, and turned to be the same. They shared 'dark camphor' note that appears to be monotonous. But the first hour was stunning.

Friday - I wore 7x sprays of Kemi 'ILM. Despite a distinctly fecal opening, I had zero complaints from my better half. Winning.
Yesterday - I wore 6x sprays of Xerjoff Alexandria Imperiale. This is a beast from 3 sprays, so lasted all day comfortably from 6. Positive comment ('you smell good') from my better half. More winning!

I still struggle with this one...but I keep testing it. The tiniest pin drop amount on my palm and I'm engulfed in gentle barn notes. It's so strong but also (lightly applied) very tolerable and almost comforting. I recoil less, now that I have smelled it several times. I don't think I would own a large bottle of this but I find it fascinating in small sample doses. Sort of the smell of a saddle...with tiny gourmand (non sweet, very dry) elements.

Musk Maceration: Mysore Santal, wet Kashmiri Musk grains, and Jasmine Sambac. And above all two years have turned all into a unified whole. Two years before I was of the view that Jasmine would remain dominant till end. But it isn't so. The first puff tells that it is Musk that leads.

If Musk grains are more than enough, and proper aging is there, the maceration will be perfect and Musk oriented, which is not easy to be found from professional sellers.

Asian pickle smells mustard oil because it is prepared in mustard oil. You know, when Asian pickle touches your fingers, its aroma won't go for hours and hours. And it is quite annoying.

Taha Saheb, the way it is freshening and energizing, I found a few drinks like that. Second, Musk in water remains Musk in toto.

Two and a half weeks before I did it in Rose Water that I myself had distilled in July 2018. I boiled the Rose hydrosol, and threw a few grains that I rinsed from the pod walls; so, epithelium pieces were there. After three days, I filtered it thrice. Till then, the grains have done the magic. Now I drink it once a day, but just a sip.

Till now, it is intact, but you have made me attentive. So, now onwards, I will prepare less to use it within a week.
