Andre or anyone know if the latest 5th version is merely a box change or a reform.

Good question. It's difficult to tell...especially when so many people are convinced that there has been a reformulation sometime during the 4th bottle's production run, I've heard numerous people say that sometime towards the end of 2011 there was a "perceived reformulation" with Fahrenheit....but that just happens to correlate with the change to Dior Homme and DHI (and in 2012, Dior Homme Sport)

As far as appearance goes, I like the 4th bottle and the 5th box the best....that would be a nice combo. But what I'd really like, is to sample each production version of the juice to determine which of those I like the best.

Yes. I have a bottle from 2013 and like the both the scent and performance. Was curious if they changed anything for 2014/2015 besides the box. I'll have to hit Macys to sample. It would seem a bit early to do another reformulation in 2014, but I could see them changing the box.

Thanks for this guide. It would have saved me from buying a fake off Ebay.

I've bought two bottles of the 2007-2014 style. They both smelled pretty true to vintage Fahrenheit (no vanilla for me) but with the gasoline note reduced and greatly reduced strength. Zero sillage. A shame, I really regret selling my old bottle years ago.
She gets a special cologne. It's called Sex Panther by Odeon. Yep, it's made with bits of real panther so you know it's good.

I have a bottle from 2011 that is potent as hell! I spray one to the chest under a shirt, and usually don't wear it unless it's really cold out (i.e. - that means, I'm also wearing a jacket). Along with one on the chest, I usually go with a very light spray around the neck area, and half a spray on the wrist (at the most) to share with the other wrist.....because the sillage and projection is so huge that it's actually a bit embarrassing to wear any more than that. With the bottle i have, it's like the old saying..."Less is more". In this case, more positive.

I just grabbed a 1989 bottle a few weeks ago after following one of these guides. It's insanely potent.

Its safe to say that its probably best not to even try to buy Fahrenheit off ebay, because I will be going back and forth with sellers trying to get photos of batch codes and stuff?

    I want to avoid fakes...

Don't blame you. I tend to avoid eBay for most fragrances myself....especially if they are attempting to sell something they call "vintage".

By the way...I guess this thread apparently isn't for "discussion" purposes as much as it is for the OP to point something out while everyone else thanks him for pointing it out (???)

Fahrenheit used to be the "shizzy" back in the days before it was reformulated. Where is all the petrol that the original had?
