My personal opinion is yes, It's a nice woody and spicy aromatic that performs well (at least on my skin) inoffensive, and can be worn in all environments.

Yes, I don't buy a lot of "higher end" things (and I can't afford the REAL expensive stuff) but I like this one enough to spend a little more that usual. as hednic said, it's versatile and never offensive plus draws a few compliments as well.

You'll never find a Chanel on a discount site. They have an iron grip on their distribution.

As to whether it's worth it, that's entirely up to you. If you like it enough, buy it!

Bleu is a reliable, flexible scent that works in almost any situation. It is also a complement-getter. I think it is worth the money.

If you happen to find any Chanel fragrances at a discount, I suggest avoidance. We've all heard enough stories about counterfeit Chanel bottles - it's not worth it.

Re: Bleu de Chanel EDT - I agree with most others here. It's a good, versatile fragrance.

There are plenty of Platinum Egoiste testers on ebay, with the engraving and all. New versions too.

If you definitely like it, then it's worth it. It works out to maybe 50 cents per day if you buy a 100 ml bottle and use all of it, right?

I go back and forth with Bleu de Chanel. I do not like it enough to wear everyday, but I still like it.

When I sample some niche, and go back to Bleu de Chanel, I enjoy it more.

Definitely. It's a very nice, high quality, fragrance that's extremely versatile... Don't listen to the people who say its generic, Its definitely a crowd pleaser but I cant think of another fragrance that smells similar to it.

This here, the only downside is that it is super popular. So if your trying to be unique it is the wrong scent to go with.

I might be wrong but I always thought that testers and smaller bottles like 50 ml are quite safe to buy at eBay, the most fakes are big retail bottles. I had luck finding Bleu (both edt and perfume) for a good price at Ebay and Amazon.

I was able to take advantage of a VIB discount to get 15% off the Chanel PE I purchased from Sephora. Only way there is to get a discount on Chanel that I know of. Far as Bleu, I owned it and it never made an impression on me. That one is the lowest on the Chanel food chain IMHO, which is no shame actually.

A very good scent with lasting power. Full-bottle worthy, IMO.

For a wife, Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme could be a better option. Sample both and let her choose.

Between Chanel and Dior you two can definitely find something you love, I think, after a bit of sampling.

Worth it if you've been swayed by the advertising campaign and you favour something bland, expensive and generic.
