Default lalique encre noire iso vetiver acetate

    Hi there,

to my untrained nose encre noire smells very much like a vetiver acetate and iso e super mix. am i mistaken? is there more to it?

Haven't smelled the fragrance but you could easily test your hypothesis at very little expense.

I think you're right. Encre Noire is known to have some of the highest percentages of Iso-E. And it's a vetiver. There is likely something else in it, but it's secondary. That's why, while I like Encre Noire, I much prefer Sycomore: similar woody-vetiver structure, but Sycomore is richer, more natural smelling.
