Default La Nuit de l'Homme vs. Bleu de Chanel EDT (Performance)

    Hello everybody

I wanna ask you about the performance of theese two fragrances(Projection and Longevity).

And i want to refer only at the 2015 versions of theese two colognes: the 2015 reformulated La Nuit de l'Homme (15% weaker than the original one) and the Bleu de Chanel EDT version(which is said to be weaker than the original Eau de Toilette version).

Tell me also your opinion about the difference between the reformulations please.

    Thank you.

I have tried what's out there now so I'm assuming they're 2015 releases. For me, BdC performs much better on my skin and lasts longer. Just my experience.

I liked Nuit on paper but not on my skin. Will say I own YSL L Homme and it doesn't last really at all past a couple hours. So Chanel FTW

Ok but L'Homme is weaker than La nuit so you can't compare it with BdC.Anyway thanks for your opinion.

I've only worn the EDP versions of the two fragrances so I'm not sure about the EDTs. I know that Bleu de Chanel lasted better on my skin than tbe EDP and it had better projection, but I've read that the La Nuit EDT is stronger than the EDP or arou d the same and the EDT version of Bleu is weKer than the EDP. I'd probably assuem there's not a huge difference but the incense in bleu may keep it alive for longer.

Talking about the respective EDT version of the two, La Nuit always lasts and projects a bit better to my nose, while Bleu tends to be a bit more vapid and light

It is possible to have recently tried the pre-2015 versions of both (though still this year). So far, however, La Nuit was always the "louder" fragrance to my nose-though in a pleasantly, distinctively noticeable way- while Bleu the more discreet one, speaking strictly about the EDT. Though entirely off-topic, the Eau de Parfum version of both leave little to no more place for longevity/projection issues.

I have exactly the opposite opinion. La Nuit is softer to my nose and more seductive, while BdC is "louder" and more dominant. But still i can't decide which one is the better performer. And I find the EdP version of Bleu very silence and weaker than the EdT version, especially when we talk about PROJECTION.

I agree with Ken Russell again.

La Nuit edt is much louder to me.

Bleu de Chanel edt has a top note that projects, but burns off.
