Too bad you don't want corn, because Boss Bottled Intense reminds me of a corn tortilla.

Haha, too funny! But as the best writers say, you can't make this stuff up!

About ten years ago when I first started coming around, Paul G was a moderator on the Men's board here. In his profession, Paul teaches, and at that time had third grade students. I remember him discussing one day when he wore Creed's Santal Imperial, his kids told him he smelled like tortillas, and one even said "no.....quesadillas!", and they all had a good laugh. And I believe he never work Santal Imperial to work again! LOL!!

Really? I'm intrigued now. Have to test this again just to satisfy my curiosity.

    I couldn't find a tortilla fragrance.
This is the closest I could find.

I know, it's cheese and corn and not flour...

On a serious note, you might want to check out L'Artisan's Bois Farine.

    Reflection Man.

I wish I was kidding. I love so much of the scent, but I can't get past the fact that it smells like tortillas to me. I had a friend say the exact same thing without me even mentioning it when she sniffed the sample.
I have a 100ml Gucci Pour Homme 2003 that I'll swap for Reflection Man or De Bachmakov. PM me if interested.

Me too. The sesame is unmistakable and a surprisingly "normal" smelling note in this context.

I know a few different people who seem to perceive all neroli and orange blossom scents (such as Kobe, Cologne Indelebile, Roja Dove's Neroli, etc.) as "tortilla". Whenever I ask what they smell, they always respond this way lol.

This is hilarious. Just grind you up a flour tortilla boil it for hours let it simmer to get them juices really going. Mix with some perfumers alcohol, and spray away.

This is why I love this place: You might think a question is exceptionally odd, but folks on here care about, and pay attention to, smells. Sure enough, ask for tortillas, and in a few hours we get:

I was going to suggest this, but you beat me to it. The corn note is strong in this one!

Haha!!! Oh yeah!! THAT happened too! I totally forgot about the incident! I can't recall exactly, but it may have been Bois de Farine by L'Artisan.

First thing that comes to mind is Amour de Cacao. Smells like Tootsie Roll's at first, but dries into what smells like Dorito's to me. A very "foody" fragrance, mouth watering to say the least.
    My Ultimate Top 5:

    Fahrenheit (1988)
    Paul Smith Man (2009)
    Burberry London (2006)
    Prada Amber pour Homme (2006)
    Arpege pour Homme (2005)

Mah man.... Here in San Antonio, we call that ... a late night snack.

P.S. CH Men layered with La Nuit kinda evokes the fabled tortilla scent for me. Smells like maize.
