Whats your the Best fragrance(s) in past 5 years? For me, I would select

"34 Boulevard Saint Germain by Diptyque"
    "Bamboo Harmony by By Kilian"

It depends on the day that I answer the question. Today it is Invasion Barbare. Absolutes are difficult in the fragrance world for me.

That's a tough question...I've been thinking about it for a little while now. I've decided that it comes down to 3 for me:
    Amouage Memoir Man
    Guerlain Spiritueuse Double Vanille
or (dare I even say it, by just mentioning the name of this house I might get banned from this forum and some basenote members will probably send hitmen to kill me in my sleep)
Bond no 9 New York Sandalwood
It's a tough decision, but I think I would have to give it to New York Sandalwood (I know, I've sealed my fate, I'm doomed now). I think I would consider this one my best for that fact that I absolutely love the stuff, of course, but it edges out the other 2 because of wearability. I can wear this one every day, the other 2, not so much...for me personally. I'm not saying that the other 2 aren't just as good, I just love that I can wear NY Sandalwood every day and it's awesome.

(Can you tell that I think that the overblown passionate "kill Bond no 9" mentality is out of control on basenotes? Yeah, I thought so)

Hey, I just realized that the OP's screen name is "Hitman". Awesome, maybe you'll be sent to kill me Hitman! LOL

Despite the general state of perfumery, there have been a number of excellent fragrances released in the 2010-2015 period. My personal favorite is the decadent Vero Profumo Rozy VDE, but Chanel Misia, Neela Vermiere Ashoka, Slumberhouse Zahd, Frederic Malle Portrait Of A Lady, Bogue Maai, Parfums Retro Grand Cuir, Bogue Maai, Serge Lutens Bas de Soie, and Tauer Miriam all rank highly of the past five years releases.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but perhaps the OP is asking about fragrances released in the last 5 years?

    I would go with -

A* Men Pure Havane by Thierry Mugler
    Royal Oud by Creed
    Interlude Man by Amouage
Eau Sauvage Parfum by Christian Dior
Amber pour Homme Intense by Prada

As you already know, "Best" is very subjective and totally depends on the occasion, situation, etc, so I don't really have a best for everything. But if I had to pick one, I'll pick Cartier Declaration D'Un Soir solely based on the number on compliments it's gotten me so far!

I think I've only gotten into perfume in the last 5 years so I find I don't keep track of when things were released.

I guess my number one would be Tam Dao EdP.

    Maybe Dior Homme Parfum too.

This is a hard one...Unsound Ephemera Bass comes to mind. It's a recent discovery but I really really really love it. ELDO's La Fin Du Monde and (pre-reformulation) Amouage Memoir Man as well.

+1 on Aventus, Bamboo Harmony, Spicebomb, Grey Vetiver EdP, Bleu de Chanel, and Leather Oud.

I would add Intoxicated, Midnight in Paris, The Scent of Peace for Him, and Musk Oud to the list as well.

Truth be told, even with IFRA and EU ingredient restrictions, the fragrance industry is still coming out with great scents.

Amouage Memoir Man is my favorite from the last 5 years. It's a masterpiece.

Close by are Bvlgari Man In Black, Pure Malt and Tom Ford Grey Vetiver. All are fantastic, but Memoir Man is just a bit better in my opinion.

I also love 34 Blvd St G, but don't own it yet. Would suggest also trying Eau de 34 St G also by Diptyque. You'll probably like it as well.

    Two of my favorites that I would add;
    Kiste by Slumberhouse
    Cape Heartache by Imaginary Authors
