Swedish football player Zlatan Ibrahimović will launch his debut fragrance in August; "Zlatan Pour Homme"
Perfumer: Olivier Pescheux, who recently made Kouros Silver and Balmain Homme. "Zlatan" is said to be a woody-citrus scent.
Per his twitter there's a pre-release event tomorrow at Collettes in Paris, in case there are any Ibra fans here, willing to go sniff & report.

Interesting, thanks for sharing!
If this one is as interesting as his football, I'd grab a bottle!
haha I'd be interested. Followed his career since Juve!
Remember that while it is perfectly acceptable to criticize the content of a post - criticizing the poster is not.
Mean spirited, nasty, snide, sarcastic, hateful, and rude individuals on Basenotes don't warrant or deserve other individuals' acknowledgement or respect.
Might sample if possible.
Celebrity fragrances are made to cash on anyone who is famous at the moment- would not be the first footballer with an own fragrance line
EDIT: Looking through his creations, a grand total of one sticks out to me as something I like (Vetyverio). He's also partially responsible for One Million. http://www.nstperfume.com/perfumers-...vier-pescheux/

The packaging is really nice, the juice will probably be generic nonsense as the vast majority of contemporary perfumery - both celebrities and non-celebrities related. I don't really see the big deal. There's his name on the bottle and this makes both target audiences and expectations really clear, none is expecting a masterpiece and surely they aren't trying to sell it as such - I wish luxury niche brands were as honest to this extent.
How about some flankers now?
Zlatan Oud? Zlatan Extreme?
Some info in a Swedish magazine.
They list the scent pyramide as:
Top notes - bergamot, grass and pepper
Heart notes - white lavender, bay leaf and marine accord
Basentes - different kinds of wood, leather
The article also states that Zlatan himself was part of the project from the first ideas of the scent to the form of the flacon - he wanted the perfume to be both "sporty" and "sophisticated".
I love Zlatan and will definetely give it a try!

Did anyone choose "Zlatan pour Homme" as a possible name in the celebrity fragrance name thread?
