Default Creed Royal Mayfair 4 oz bottle label is very cheap quality

I have had the bottle for about 2 1/2 weeks now from the Creed Boutique in NYC and the letters and creed logo are already fading from constantly using the cologne. The material is crap and the lettering rubs off easily.

That's unfortunate to hear but won't deter me from buying a 4oz. bottle.

This happened to the old GIT 4oz bottles, don't worry about it the juice is pure gold and that's all that really matters.
Going out of town for 2 weeks starting 7/30/15.

Peeling labels, loose caps, and wonky sprayers are how you can tell you have an authentic Creed.

Don't worry, Creed scrimps on those details so that they can use that money to bring you the best quality juice possible.

    Sadly, this is true.
My Aventus label was peeling shortly after I got it, and the sprayer is iffy at best.
My GIT label looks cheap and fading in a bad way.
My MI label is chipping around the edges.
And none of the caps fit well, including the caps for my bottles of Royal Oud. The caps also feel cheap.

I love Creed fragrances, but their quality control is embarrassingly bad. It's sad, but, designer bottles have higher quality.

It's because they use a special glass that only Creed can create in their factories by the oompa loompa's. This also explains the batch variations and how the fragrances get better with age. If the sticker falls off that means it's a fruity batch and you should sell it for $1000 on Ebay.

Not unusual for Creed. Great juice, cheap bottles/labels/packaging.

I hoped quality would improve when they switched sprayers, but I guess they only improved that one aspect.

How is the stuff inside the bottle? Is it worth overlooking the shoddy packaging? I ask because I haven't had the chance to try this one yet.

Surprisingly they are still in business.

Perhaps they are still in business because they can sell low quality goods at inflated prices?

My Creed bottles are in a perfect state. Maybe you should treat them more gently, like a true Creed aristocrat

At Creed prices, people should expect quality bottles, labels, caps and even boxes - otherwise, there's no reason to not buy from splitters. It really is a sad statement when one can expect a higher quality bottle when buying a decant instead of the real thing.

There's no excuse for poor quality control when spending over $50 a bottle. Yes, I said $50, and we all know Creeds sell for a lot more than $50, even for a 1oz bottle. If Hermes can make quality bottles at designer prices, there's absolutely positively no reason why Creed can't at niche prices other than a lack of concern on their part.

I love Creed fragrances, but my respect for the house of Creed has been falling. I only buy them from discounters, but going forward, I may start only buying them from splitters. There's no excuse for charging over $200 on bottles with poor sprayers, peeling labels, cheap caps that don't even fit, etc. There's just no excuse... especially not for a house that supposedly has hundreds of years of experience.
