    Default Not second bottle worthy?

    Good day All,
Which fragrance(s) from your collection is not second bottle worthy and will never be replaced when done with it?

For me I'd have to say...

Hypnose (I really like it but its performance is nothing to write home about)
    Moon Sparkle
Concentré D'Orange Verte (Like it but way too citrusy for my liking)

Bleu de Chanel EdT (not bottle worthy at all, disgusting stuff, an abomination! , trying to sell)
Dior Homme Parfum (not bottle worthy, trying to sell)
Eau Sauvage Parfum (it's good, but that's about it)
Neroli Portofino (Cologne Indelebile is better)
Versace L'Homme (perhaps....very good stuff, but I prefer some others in its genre)
Currently wearing: Chergui by Serge Lutens

    From my personal wardrobe:

    perhaps XXL by Daniel Hechter
again, with a huge question mark, as I might like this fragrance again: On El by J del Pozo
Currently wearing: Open by Roger & Gallet

I never set out to get a second bottle, but I will definitely never buy the folliwing again
    Fille en Aiguilles
Comme des Garçons EDP (2011) I doubt I will ever finish bottle #1. I like it very much but more in the way that one appreciates art.
Black Cashmere. This is bottle #2 but the first was before the reissue. I'm going to enjoy it while I have it and forget about it when its gone.

While I don't anticipate finishing any bottles soon, I'd say most of them. There are only a handful that I'd repurchase.

Too many to name, but any of the inexpensive French mass-market scents once finished or broken by carelessness will not be replaced from my collection.

Too many. Doesn't mean I don't like the first ones.

In her bottled up is a woman peppery as curry,
a yam of a woman of butter and brass,
compounded of acid and sweet like a pineapple,
like a handgrenade set to explode,
    like goldenrod ready to bloom.

Probably half of my collection wouldn't be replaced if they were suddenly gone. However, I doubt I will ever finish a bottle of anything.

Aqua di Gio. It was a gift.
Old Spice. I find it lacks the brilliance, as I remember.
Voyage d' Hermes. Not really impressed with the Ellena style, with this.
Terre d'Hermes The 2006-2008 vintage was the star.
Terre dHermes Parfum Find it a little cloying.
Leonard. I think my bottle had turned.
Eau d'Orange Vert. Like Voyage. I feel Ellena's touch has missed the mark.

Just so I don't get labelled as an Ellena Hater, I think current Bel Ami and B.A Vetiver are brilliant.
And the Hermessence hold some charm.
Eau D'orange Vert Vintage, was close to a Masterpiece for me.

I have not finished anything recently.

That said, I cannot fathom finishing a bottle of anything I don't like enough to replace.

Either I use it until I'm bored and then I either sell it or trade it, or I keep it and just have so many in rotation, I have not been able to finish it as of yet.

There are several I already am planning for back-up bottles, though.

Tim, seriously speaking, I don't know as things can shift in terms of what one likes as there are so many varieties of fragrances out there as the market is always shifting. Also, going to have to concur with bottle usage. aka: I like to shift it up. Eau de Cologne by Chanel is now MFK's Aqua Universalis. 4711 is now Atelier's Grand Neroil, etc. Answer: Probably none of them.

I couldn't agree with you more Paul, you've explained it quite well.
