    Default Most depressing looking bottle?

We all know that it's the juice inside that counts but am I the only one that thinks Balenciaga's Pour Homme bottle and box just seem uninspiring?

Every time I see that drab/pale pink bottle and ugly green cap all I get is a melancholy type of vibe.....sounds crazy but that seems like the only one to do that to me.
Any particular bottle or box color scheme out there that just turns you "off".

Unsure about Balenciaga's Pour Homme bottle, but Quorum and Drakkar Noir Bottles are the ones I find depressing and uninspiring (from my wardrobe)

Poor thing wants to be hip so bad, but it fails. Like an old guy hanging onto his thinning hair by combing it over his mostly bald head. Not sure how the graphic designers thought this was a good idea.

Perhaps Invictus and a few other extremely tacky bottles gradually becoming part of the regular designer mainstream

I'm not keen on the Xerjoff range (including offshoots) -- they all seem to be designed with Liberace in mind

Any of this kind of stuff just makes me embarrassed to be seen hanging around a perfume counter.

Maybe it's just the art nerd in me, but does anyone else think of Vladamir Tatlin's Monument to the Third International every time they see a bottle of Montana?

I never keep the box long enough to even ponder its potential ugliness! As for bottle, too many drab ones in my collection to name. Formidable Homme comes to mind.

Le Labo has some of the most appalling bottles I've ever seen.

This would be equally good response to a possible (probable) future thread: "Most depressive looking bottle".

I really hate to say it but the bottle for that one really did ruin it for me. It was rather fitting though because i find the scent to be awesome and quite mature. So it was a bit of a shock to smell something that good come out of th bottle as i was expecting something sweet and loud. But every time i reached for it i just kept thinking about the immaturity of the packaging. That sad part is i know better. I wear other fragrances that i am not a fan of the presentation but none of them had the effect that this one did.
