As always, randomly reaching for one from the multitude.

I've been waiting for ages to wear Cuir Venenum by PG again -- insanely beautiful in the cold

Definitely Creed Spice & Wood, TFPB Plum Japonais, and Chanel Egoiste. These are all warm and more formal scents, and I'm still looking for a casual beast to cut through the extreme cold.

    * After reading this thread, I'm going to give Tom Ford PJ another try as the last time I tried it I layered it with Tom Ford's TV and it literally made my stomach hurl in knots due to an overbearing sweetness. Oud/ plum or was it from the tobacco/vanilla accord thrown into the mix which made it too sweet?

There are some I haven't worn as much during the spring and summer, which I am planning to wear more often:

    Ralph Lauren Polo

    Aramis Devin

    Chanel Egoiste

    Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb

    Aramis Havana

Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme .

No doubt I'll still be using Armani Eau Pour Homme and Chanel Pour Monsieur EDT - I am a wee bit addicted to both and they work well for me in colder weather, though the summer months are ideal for them.

I should probably make a point of wearing Issey Miyake and Polo Black more often, but because I wore both exclusively for a few years I tend to neglect them.

    1. No, never blind buy (I do, but do as I say, not as I do. I'm taking no responsibility for your fragrance gambling).
    2. Get them both. You're a Basenoter and you know you're going to end up purchasing them both eventually.
    3. Yes, it has been reformulated.
    4. Looking for a signature scent? You've come to the wrong place.
