    Default Joe Malone Scents

I'm going to visit their boutique sometime this upcoming week and have a few that I'm gonna check out but was also wondering which other scents in your opinion are worthy to look at and finally purchase?

I liked Black Vetyver it smells smooth and warm for a cold night out, but there are other brands less expensive and maybe better

As you know, the style is fresh and light. So I'd sample things like lime, basil and mandarin or grapefruit, which are very refreshing.
I think sage and sea salt is an interesting experiment in semi-marine, not sure I'd wear it, but interesting to smell.

I thought that had been discontinued.

+1 to Oud Bergamot. Add Wood Sage Sea Salt and Lime Basil Mandarin. Plus French Lime Blossom for ladies.

    My thoughts exactly.

Oud & Bergamot is one to get a sample of. Sage & Sea Salt is interesting, and though I was intrigued enough to get a sample, I've barely worn it & will probably put it in my next batch that I give away in the freebies thread.

I love the Cologne Intense Jo Malones. Dark Amber & Ginger Lily, Velvet Rose & Oud, Saffron and also Tuberose Angelica. One that is great for cold weather is Vanilla & Anise, a spicy vanilla fragrance.

I like Incense Cedrat quite a bit! Birch and Black Pepper is quite nice as well.

Oud Bergamot was the only one I tried that I found pleasant.

+1. Probably knocks and older favourite, Pomegranate Noir out of its place.

Not found anything yet from this house that I would buy. I was actually going to try to sample the new Wood Sage & Sea Salt, but it got panned for its low silage and longevity - complaints I've found to be true with most of this house's offerings.

154 Cologne would be worth checking out.

Yes, they are average at best for longevity and projection.

Lime basil mandarin and Wood sage & sea salt get my vote. While no powerhouse fragrances longevity is actually pretty decent imo.

    Update:

I tested the whole "Intense line" and only liked Aoud & bergamot, plus tested others whom amongst them only truly dug 154 cologne from their regular line : I do get the parallels some say that AB has with Aventtus but I detect AB has some patchouli to differentiate from it although that note is not listed in the composition by JO MALONE. Now, for 154 is a nice Bergamot/grapefrui patchouli, MUSK etc Clean smoky scent in par with Royal Oud by Creed but with a Very attractive muskiness to it, And oh yeah, I also liked wood sage & sea salt as it was very tamed with a citrusy/muskiness, and a salty marine like vibe but too subtle for me but nevertheless a very pleasurable experience for the senses. Now the big question, am I gonna get a full bottle of any of these? well, will see how these samples I was given workout on me, so the answer is to be determined!

Oud and bergamot is very nice but far too weak on me to justify the price tag. Incense and cedrat performed way better, but again price is the issue, just can't justify full price for it.
