Interlude. It is so smoky and full bodied scent. I just love it. Although I love quite many from Amouage Man line.

It's a tie between Memoir Man and Jubilation XXV.

Both are great. Memoir Man is the textbook example of smoky dark and mysterious, where as Jubilation is incredibly sumptuous, lush and thick. I'd probably pick Jubilation if I had to, though.. But both are absolutely fantastic.

Of all the ones I've tried, Jubilation was for me the most pleasant.

    Agree with this.

Also, Interlude Woman, Epic Woman are nice.

Interlude Man, Epic Man might also be interesting.

Dia Man is too fleeting on me, but otherwise a good (and very classical) composition.

Dia Man easily tops the list of my favorites from the house. It is complex, luxurious and more personal than their other offerings. Absolutely outstanding stuff, IMO.

    2) Giorgio for Men vintage/V.I.P. for Men (Giorgio Beverly Hills)
    3) Dia Man vintage edt (Amouage)
    4)
Anat Fritz Original Formula and Classical (Anat Fritz) - tie
    4) Lalfeorosa (O'driù) - tie

    6)
Les Nombres d'Or Vetyver (Mona di Orio)
    7) Captain vintage (Molyneux)
    8) Tzora (Anat Fritz)

Having just acquired a non-magnetic cap bottle of this I really agree - it's definitely complex and probably their most interesting and unusual offering.
But I'd also mention Memoir Man and Jubilation XXV just right after!

Does magnetic cap vs non magnetic make a difference with dia? There is a possibility to get non magnetic cheaper than magnetic.

I sampled dia but found it extremely weak in every aspect. Maybe I'll just have to test again later today from my sample (official Amouage card sample, which ever formulation that might be)

Maybe it just ain't for me.

Reflection Man and Dia Man are probably the safest most crowd pleasing from the house. Honour and Journey are amazing but extremely underrated.

Gold Man is monumental. A tower of a perfume.

Having said that, start with Memoir.

My route was Memoir + Lyric + Ciel + Gold + Jubilation + Interlude.

    My next is probably Reflection.

Agree, Gold Man is one of Guy Robert's best creations.

Almost all the older Amouage's were solid. The talk about non-magnetic vs newer magnetic cap versions is indeed bad, if true (looks like it is true based on quite a few ppl posting on this). Library line had more misses than hits (i liked only 4 & 6).

    My Amouage favourites:
1 Dia Man (have old non-magnetic bottle, haven't tried the newer versions so can't comment on that front)
    2 Jubilation XXV
    3 Fate Woman
    4 Gold Man
    5 Memoir Man
    6 Jubilation 25
    7 Opus 3
    8 Epic Man

Wishing you much pleasure on your Amouage odyssey.

I'm not very fond of amouage. I like everything except their oud/frankincense accord. It's not very high quality. Considering here from the land of oud & frankincense....

That said,I really like fate woman.

    It's completely unAmouage.

For me it's either Jubilation XXV or Dia Man.

Personally, this house is so good you should find and order a sampler package and determine which fragrance appeals the most to your personal taste.

For me it would be in no particular order...

    Fate Woman
    Jubilation XXV
    Epic

Opus VII is not for everyone, but it's for me.
Most worn scents according to my haphazard use of the SOTD...so perhaps my favorites.

I was sucked into Amouage by Interlude Man. Just be warned, it ain't for anyone. A friend of mine called it "the dark witch" when smelling it.

My top 3 are (in no particular order):

Memoir Man (dark, smokey, mysterious, subtle but long lasting, and I love absinthe)
Fate Man (tons of spices, but not in your face, soft and alluring)
Sunshine Man (I love immortelle as a note, and this one uses it beautifully, right up there with one of my all time favorites: Dior Eau Noire, but Sunshine is less spicy and more versatile)
    Current top 6:
    1. Frederic Malle The Night
    2.
Roja Dove Enigma Parfum Pour Homme
    3. MDCI Chypre Palatin
    4. MFK Oud Cashmere Mood
    5. Amouage Sunshine Man

I have a non-magnetic cap Jubilation XXV bottle that came sealed bought on Parfumaria. I used it several times and I think it is light.
