Thread: Alberto Morillas video |
I found this very interesting and thought others here might enjoy as well.
Btw, the video freeze-frame choice is terrible... he's not as miserable as you might think![]()

Remember that while it is perfectly acceptable to criticize the content of a post - criticizing the poster is not.
Mean spirited, nasty, snide, sarcastic, hateful, and rude individuals on Basenotes don't warrant or deserve my or other Basenoters' acknowledgement or respect.
Thanks a lot for sharing!
Very interesting, especially his point about fruity perfumes.
I'm surprised Mugler Cologne wasn't mentioned.
The video editing could have been better, particularly the perfume bottle images.

For anyone interested, that YouTube account by "MJacksonAlive" has uploaded 58 high quality videos on the world of perfumery, and another 46 on short bio pieces of the world's greatest perfumers.

You're welcome everyone -- glad to know it's something appreciated.
Yeah, I really enjoyed that part about his take on fruity/sweet/aquatic fragrances. Very poignant, if you ask me. There are a few other videos of him, but not sure if they're segments of this or additional... so much to cover, I guess Mugler didn't make the cut.
Great point, scarce. I hadn't yet gotten around to looking those others over; nice to know there's a lot more worth exploring.![]()
This was so interesting-- thank you for posting!
The other day I was at the Yale Center for British Art and was given 2 sets of carded samples of Alberto Morillas' new fragrances for Penhaligon's, Blasted Heath (M) and Blasted Bloom (F). If anyone in the contiguous USA is interested in trying these two, message me. I will mail one set of 2 samples to one person. First come, first served.
