    Old version has beige label.
New version has yellow woodgrain label

Key difference is the bottom end.
New version confirms to IFRA which means less moss and a bit more top notes.
Both versions smell like a Martin Scorsese film, but vintage will be the original celluloid while the new one is a 4K blu-ray transfer all sparkly and less saturated.

^^^ One of the best metaphors I've ever heard to describe the difference between a rich vintage and an attenuated reformulation.

    Thank you.

Sometimes I enjoy the surface noise of an LP, with all it's rich woofer-shaking subharmonics and warmth
But sometimes the crisp bright cymbal crashes of a nice digital remaster is good too. A good reform is like a nice remastered classic album.

A bad reform is like a terrible Skrillex dubstep remix of your favorite high school prom song, filled with too much bass, autotune, and random noises. :X

    Good morning Bavard,

ia haven't seen any PPH labeled "cologne". Mine are all EDT's
The AS is pretty powerful, lasts on me for hours. Not as intense as the EDT but still very good.

    Dunhill Edition.....Finally!

I totally get it now.....the blast of nutmeg and citrus at the top. I get the florals after about 20 minutes or so and then it settles down with oakmoss but the florals are still lingering.

Let's see how this performs today.
