I've sampled newer vintage MdG and believe the tops notes on my bottle are mostly in tact, finding the differences to be with the deep vintage's dry down being a bit more complex. Again, I'd have to do a side by side comparison to expand on what I'm saying. Eau Pour Homme is more wearable in my climate, and Mrs. Diddy prefers MdG on me. I love them both, for different reasons.
Thx, Diddy! To specify: the top of both frags are quite similar. In both, you are instantly hit with that unmistakable gorgeous blend of lemon, sandalwood and verbena (and I swear some cedar too) which all lingers throughout (on me at least). The heart and base I don't know.

Hey, my friend! Sorry I didn't follow up but I did do a comparison. The opening stanza of the fragrances do share similarity with that citric sandalwood smack to the chops. In my comparison (which again was with original release MdG) the two separated rather quickly, with the Armani keeping that sparkle and the MdG warming up. I'd say the Armani is and stays as a spicy fresh fragrance and the MdG goes spicy warm, leans more toward competing with the likes of Pour Monsieur (though not the same). Perhaps the way they result is why I never compared the two but the opening does bare similar notes that could be compared. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me!

Did not know this existed! You are a man of many wonders, hednic.

Many of the reviews say it smells much like regular Bandit...true? Do you like it?

    Halston Limited.

A wonderful slightly sweet rose infused chypre that smells as if was comprised of 2/3 Ho Hang Club (minus the powdery dry-down) and 1/3 vintage Azzaro Acteur with a dash of vintage Ungaro I.

If you’re into masculine rose scents, one could do much worse

Vintage Nineties Lauder For Men. ( I can still detect the oakmoss goodness in this. Not as gloriously rich as the Eighties vintage but still great.)
