As I recall, someone convinced me that it was a reformulation issue. Considering how close the two actually smell, it's kind of crazy that I thought the older one was Pour Homme. Not saying they are identical -- I do think the formula was "cleaned up" by the early 90s (which is when my tapered bottle was produced).

If it even existed. And if it did, why in the world would Patou not differentiate them by marking the bottles and boxes? None of this makes any sense to me.
That's part of it, too. It seemed inconceivable that no indication would be made on the bottles or boxes, so I figured that the older styles of bottles must have been the Pour Femme as well.

Now I'm wondering if the Pour Homme ever existed. I thought at least that had been established!

Ha -- it could hardly have gotten worse than it already was. Nobody seems to know anything.
Time to say "pics or it didn't happen".

Didn't we talk about this same issue a few weeks ago?

    My two scents.
Same fragrance with different bottle ( maybe different but very similar formulation)

Salvatore Ferragamo Pour Homme. Ive had this for ages but dont know what exact vintage it is. Has anyone noticed if the dirt-cheap current version is much different? I have always been fond of this true for this Ferragamo alone and ZCs review and backstory helped solve the mystery of why it is surprising good.

So....This is a tester and someone put an Egoiste cap on it. It doesn't bother me. The juice is excellent!

R de Capucci from an Epapsiou decant. This has fantastic development. It needs time to reach its best on my skin.
