Sadly, I can’t say that we do. As I find some at ‘reasonable’ prices, I’ll get more. But you’re absolutely right. It’s great!

I had a dream a couple nights ago that I came across a big stash of vintages at an estate sale. Mostly nothing but the came across an Egoiste and an Antaeus Sport. Man, I wish that dream would come true!!!

I already placed a huge dent in my first vintage 50ml Egoiste bottle by my dumb reach tendencies, it might not last to the end of the year. I might follow Bavard on accumulating his amount of ~250ml+ in volume. I don't feel safe with my existing ~130ml volume, those trigger happy fingers.

Got to work on building up my Antaeus and Pour Monsieur stashes as well.

A full blown stash of Egoiste Cologne Concentree or Bois Noir would be a connoisseur's dream.

I think it was simply a re-release of the original. As I understand it, Trophee was discontinued sometime in the the 1990s, then reintroduced on the occasion of its 20th anniversary. It says "20th Anniversary" and "Limited Edition" on the reverse side of the box.

    It's good stuff.

Antaeus, I’m good. Antaeus Sport, running on vapors. Pour Monsieur, I could use more. And while I’m thinking about it, also some good old Eau Sauvage.

I agree with you on the stash. I don’t see Bois Noir come up too often but it seems to always be at super high prices.

My SOTD is Sport de Paco Rabanne.

The more time I spend with Antaeus and Antaeus Sport, the more I'm feeling like I prefer Antaeus (1981). I also love Antaeus Sport (1985), but the base has more of the laundry-type sweet muskiness from Coco (1984) which I don't think is for everyone, at least not everyone who's hardcore into vintage.

Denim Original perfume vapo. Almost forgot how good and solid this is. So herbal aromatic and soapy, like crisp milled bar soap. Performs with authority, too.

My SOTD is Sport de Paco Rabanne.
I'd like to try the 1980s and 1990s formulations of Antaeus as a comparison to both 2000s and what is currently available.

Antaeus Sport is good although I don't necessarily reach for it often. I still enjoy my Allure Homme Edition Blanche Cologne Concentree bottles, that stuff is wonderful.

I think it’s that sweet murkiness that plays well with my skin and climate (probably climate mostly) that’s at play with Sport for me. But I totally get what you’re saying.

Some people actually prefer the current edition of Antaeus over the vintage. It would very interesting to compare all versions.

I don’t reach for Sport that often but probably mostly cause I have so very little. I enjoy regular ole Antaeus very much though. And truth be told, even though I prefer Sport, the differences aren’t so great that I couldn’t live without it. AHEBCC is a wonderful scent. Hands down, and no 2 ways about it.

Immersed in her reading, the maiden has taken her farewell voyage into the Great Beyond, aided by the serene scent of Guerlain Apres L’Ondee. One can almost hear the tapping of raindrops against her window, and the sustain of piano keys permeating the fragrant air. (I know my bottle isn’t vintage, but I did promise a Memento Mori piece and well, my L’HB is taking especially long. Hope you enjoy my pic.B1A4FE62-7613-4257-9DFC-0BBCB675EBCF.jpg

Old dog, learning even older tricks! It's never too late -- especially for vintage Eau d'Hermes.

Would I be forgiven for quoting Rod Stewart? "And you wear it well... a little old-fashioned, but I don't mind."

I'm in Patou Ma Liberte today. So, so good...something I think I could be happy with as a signature, if I wanted a signature. It has joined my desert island list. Patou in general: holy cow. I'm smelled I think 5 from the house, and they're all stunners. Time for a deeper dive...don't know what took me so long.

I ended up wearing some Eau de Hermes last night. It because very (surprisingly) animalic on my skin last night. I felt savage. I was a little disappointed to only get about 5 hours longevity out of as I loved it. What kind of longevity do you get?
