    Default Your vintage SOTD

Sotd PCPM. Quite early version. Batch# 00709 (whatever that's worth). The 'e' (estimate) symbol is a small sticker.
    Great scent but fairly linear.

I know an awful lot of people of both genders who are driven deep into romantic reveries about their '90s boyfriends by just one sniff of that stuff.

Somehow, I don't even recall it being part of the zeitgeist in those years. All I remember are the weird swimming pool commercials.

Eternity was still too expensive in the 90's and never ended up in discounters like Curve, Tommy, Wings, Cool Water or Nautica quickly did, so for me it was a rare bird in the wild while all the guys my age bombed up the malls with the others I mentioned. Now Calvin Klein litters Marshalls nearly as bad as Burberry. How the mighty have fallen.

So far it's the only classic Hermes that I feel comfortable wearing. I'm still wrestling with Equipage but I think it an acquired taste.

It's probably a power-of-suggestion thing, but I do feel a bit of the country club in it. It's the smell of casual good times. And old money. haha!

I never developed even the slightest taste for golf.
