    Miss Dior Eau de Cologne

New acquisition for me, sealed in box. Carbon dated to ~1980 by Chief Inspector RoRo. Considerably lighter than the EDT, with noticeably less costus.

@Cuney, that Bellodgia looks ravishing. That's one Caron I'd love to try in vintage form, even though I'm not the biggest Caron fan.

Kanebo has produced a number of fragrance lines for sale in drug stores and convenience stores. I believe Sexangle was one of them.
I picked up this sample as a blind-buy. I just had to have it, because Sexangle.

    Default Your vintage SOTD

Having a go at this again. IMO it is quite linear still, but it IS also great smelling. Jury is still out. I may not reach for it that often but it's def a keeper for historical purposes if nothing else.
    Damn well-blended, though! It PERFORMS 10+ hours...Outrageous.
Further research so far, places this version/presentation somewhere between 1977 and 1980. If anyone has other info, I'd love for them to chime in

I gave a bottle that looked like that one, to my Father, in the 70's. I don't remember what the box looked like, sorry.

Not even close in my opinion. Like mars vs earth. Funny how fragrance is so subjective lol
Acqua di Parma colonia today. This smells more like Royal Water to my sniffer or more like Neroli Sauvage. Maybe a mix!

I can say though that I have not smelled the juice in that bottle style. I would imagine it is reformulated in that bottle so I probably need to buy that one. I have seen it with green juice maybe an European version???

Yes, CPH is a gorgeous masculine. I love it too!
Although it's good quality, I'm not really into Creeds and fancy pedigrees. I'd much rather pay top-dollar for a 2oz-bottle of non-IFRA-compliant Rogue!

Yes I agree and I do love that Creed has become more affordable recently. I purchased a 120ml 2010 batch of Original Santal for $150 tester. Such a great fragrance! Not at such an unreasonable price. There are no right or wrong preferences in perfume. That's what I love about this hobby!

The notes breakdown look interesting, sharing some similar notes with Miss Dior. Do you get any similarity?
