Oh yeah, italian DGPH is awesome. I bought it brand new back in '97/'98. Good stuff.
I have/had the same concerns but for $35 its worth the gamble. He also has other nice scents available

Tonight, 1st ed. Quorum by Pewy ('82) from an ol' tester. This juice kicks ass and takes names. Good solid mossy aromatic stuff.

The produce manager at my favorite supermarket wears that, and I always make some excuse to converse with him just so I can sniff him. It smells so good that I'm thinking he has an old bottle. It's possible, since he looks like he's in his late '50s.

How cool is that. He might have, yeah. Or maybe a mid-vintage one. Quorum was, imho, great 'til around 2010 or so. I still like the more current stuff, though it's mostly just citrus, pine and soap.

I have a 3rd edition ('80s) bottle and it is phenomenal, imho. I like this 4th edition very much, but to me the 3rd has a much more beefy opening, a richer base and clearer development, whereas the 4th is overall much more powdery and musky. The bottle is annoyingly cumbersome, though, but the box is just beautiful and oozes very high quality!
