Default Any other variants of Guerlain Vetiver worth buying?

I have the regular current Guerlain Vetiver edt, and in my opinion it's THE perfect vetiver scent. I love it! Are there any of the flankers that are worth checking out?

I own and also like Vetiver Frozen - spicy, woody, fresh, light inoffensive and nice smell IMO.

I love and highly recommend Vetiver Sport if you can find it. Fresh minty top notes, very refreshing, cool and dry with not much tobacco but clean good quality white musk.
Unfortunately I got turned off GV when I tried the current formulation in the tall bottle. I think it's horrible. The ribbed bottle was great. I kinda decided to say goodbye to it...

+1 Very hard to get but I am lucky to have a 75ml of the Sport flanker. Worth blind buying when you see one!
I agree with the OP that Guerlain Vetiver (ribbed bottle!) is THE perfect vetiver scent!

I didn't enjoy that one myself. It's more easily available though.

I came here to post that Vetiver Frozen is my fav in the entire line. Haven't smelled it in ages, but that is my memory of it.
Is the juice worth the squeeze?

Another big fan of Vetiver Frozen.
    Great for hot, humid weather.
Thanks for reminding me to pull it out when summer arrives.

I owned the Extreme years ago but then tired of it after a while. It reminded me a bit of Vetiver Extraordinaire by Frederic Malle in that it had a strife synthetic note running through it. I can see how this probably made it more radiant and 'alive' but it sort of wore on me. Especially in warm weather.

I know that this is technically not a flanker, but the vintage Eau de Cologne version of the scent is fantastic and is my preferred version. If you like the EdT you owe it to yourself to try vintage EdC

Another version I like, a bit more difficult to find, is the Vetiver Refreshing Body Splash. I wrote a thread about it in 2008 here: http://www.basenotes.net/threads/209...ng-Body-Splash

No flanker, but I'd recommend Racine (MPG).

    +1 to the above.

But from a flanker point - the best is vtg Vetiver edc - tough to beat that...

Same as ribbed but..............all being less (tobacco, performance, strength, bottle) Only thing that is more is the amount of citrus.
You can test them everywhere at Douglas or Ici paris XL.
