Default Need help: Vintage or fake bottle?

Hello all,i need your opinion on a bottle i have recently purchased.
I have found (on Ebay) a vintage 100 ml box of La Nuit De L' Homme.
The seller had posted a picture of the vintage box but the bottle was not demonstrated. After opening the box, which is vintage, i have checked the cap of the bottle, which is the hollow vintage one again, and after that the bottom of the bottle for the sticker.
The batch code was a 4 digit one, again according to vintage bottles, but:
Here is where i need your help.
The sticker begins like that:7jDH (note that j is written small, D and H capital letters AND the number 7 and H are highlighted with an _).
    Underneath the batch code:
    EAU DE TOILETTE
    3.0 FL.OZ 100ML
    YVES SAINT LAURENT
    BRJ 92521 NEUILLY CEDEX
    MADE IN FRANCE
What i find bizarre is that the 4 digit code begins with a 7 (according to some internet sites that means production in 2007 but the perfume was lunched in 2009)and also that the j is written small and 7 and H are highlighted.
Any ideas? The perfume itself smells fine.
Do you think this is a fake?
    Thanks in advance
    MM

    Updated with photos.
It smells as i knew it when it came on the market in 2009. My wife bought me a bottle as a gift in 2009 and i have finished it in less than a year but didn't buy another bottle after that. I have sprayed (4x) about 1h ago and it is strong.

    3.0 oz = 100ml ????

There are a few other problems, but I don't like to help counterfeiters correct their mistakes. The bottle looks more recent. My guess is you got a real bottle of non vintage juice and they faked the sticker to make it look vintage. Make sense?

    Thanks for the input.
Could you please text me with the rest of the problems you have spotted?
I need to know what else is wrong because i intend to send it back.

That 3.0 indicates a fake as YSL does not make such mistakes.

    Smelly finger,
As long as i know the new bottles do not come with hollow bottle caps, the interior is solid.
Only the vintages come with hollow interior. Do you think they have faked the cap too?
Why would somebody copy something perfect and blow it with the batch code is something i can not understand.
And the box is vintage authentic in my opinion

The 3.0 = 100ml is the first time I have ever seen that.

The bottom stickers YSL uses are all pre-made and just do not have 3.0 on them...............impossible (or they must have been hacked in their computer system )

Is like you would see a Heineken bottle with "Hiniken'' written on it and reminds me of Polish fake demonstration bottles of Chanel Platinum Egoiste I saw. They did almost ''all right'' but on the bottle was written ''Demonsration''.

    How stupid can one be..................lol

Hi, let's talk about the Counterfeits........ It's serious problem serious thing to worry about, Before 2 weeks.... As i remember I bought a perfume " Chanel Egoiste" and it's have everything as good as possible ( the package, the font, engraved font on bottle is perfect... Every thing is perfect.... Really even I thought it's genuine ( Authentic) but......... After just 20 min on skin....... It's gone. Just like you didn't put on your skin..... And did you know what? I bought it for 130$...... I get cheating in perfume and in price.
I was thinking that I can recognize the genuine and fake but after this accident.... I have fear to purchase another one

Probably either a fake, or a newer one 'modified' to attempt to appear 'vintage'? Does the box seem legit? Maybe a legit older box/cap + legit newer bottle + fake sticker or something?

I'd try to get a refund.

    3.0oz/100ml thing = WRONG
The juice looks pretty light, dunno if that's because of the lighting from the camera/room, or what.

That 4 digit stuff seems kinda weird.. but I don't have a vintage one to compare to. Two characters are underlined, one is lowercase (or at least set lower than others). wut?

I have told the seller that this is not ok.
He says it is but he would refund if i am not satisfied.

It's weird that the box says 3.3 fl oz/100ml, but the sticker on the bottle says 3.0 fl oz/100ml. What a peculiar discrepancy, in more ways than one. Yet it smells strong and good, just like you remember it smelling in 2009. You paid a lot for it and that's awful if it's fake - even so, and I could be way off-base, I'd be tempted to keep it because it smells right and it lasts. The numbers are a real problem, no doubt about it - but the cap is right. This is a very strange mixture of elements - it's almost like you could look at it either way. But those numbers...
