    Default Best cedar wood/orange combo

Looking for a fragrance with a ton of cedar and a very natural smelling fresh peeled orange? Love both smells but not sure if I can find them together. I'd appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!

Maybe Orange Sanguine? I haven't smelled it in a while though. Last year I made one myself called Peel. I really enjoy the combination myself.

Orange sanguine over a spray of Molecule 01/iso-e-super perhaps....I think this would work well

I think Allure Sport may have those notes, the one I have in a full bottle is Azzaro Night Time but that is BITTER Orange and cedar.

This. Not quite woody enough on its own, but the iso e super should give it a boost of woodiness and performance.

Otherwise, all of got is TdH Parfum.
    1. No, never blind buy (I do, but do as I say, not as I do. I'm taking no responsibility for your fragrance gambling).
    2. Get them both. You're a Basenoter and you know you're going to end up purchasing them both eventually.

Diptyque Oyedo is dry orange and thyme over a woody base. It's a unique take on the theme.

Try MFK- APOM. It's not orange fruit, but it's orange blossom and cedar.

While orange is not listed in the notes, Maison Francis Kurkdjian's Baccarat Rouge 540 has lovely slightly sweet blood orange/cedar notes. Projection tends to be an issue for me, but the smell is wonderful - just wish it packed a little more punch.

Perhaps not freshly peeled orange, but Rochas Lui is certainly orangey-cedar - if you can find it.

I'd be thrilled if somebody took the orange from TdH Parfum and married it to the base of Royal Oud. I'm amazed nobody has done anything like that yet. Well, maybe somebody has, but I haven't found it.

Orange over cedar would be fantastic.
Orange over sandalwood would be too.

TdH Parfum is the best orange scent I've found. Woods are listed, but I don't get anywhere near as much woodiness from it as other people seem to. Not that I'm complaining though. I love it as it is... but a cedar or sandalwood version of TdH Parfum would be the ultimate combo for me.

Only a few come to mind.

Armani Privé - Cedre Olympe (but the orange isn't as intense as the cedar at all).
    Ormonde Jayne - Tsarina

And +1 for Allure Homme Sport.

Those are two great affordable choices...

I would suggest perhaps Terre d'Hermès Eau Très Fraîche and/or Déclaration Cologne.

Really expected to open this thread and see post after post about Terre d'Hermes, both EDT and Parfum. That's just about perfect.

    NO.

Iso E Super has a nice smell and as a component for perfumery, it's incredibly versatile... but it's not cedar. If you get the chance, get your nose on Gucci Pour Homme 2003 or Creed's Royal Oud. The bases of those smell a lot more like cedar (and in Royal Oud, sandalwood as well).
