    Default Saffron and Oud recommendations

I'm wanting to add compositions which have Saffron and Oud as the main players to my collection.

Some which came to my mind and which I already have/have tried:

MFK Oud (tried, but didn't wow me)
Montale Dark Aoud (got this, like it)
Xerjoff Gao (got a Discovery Set bottle, may opt for a full bottle)

(They were the ones I can remember. I may have omitted a few)

    Any other recommendations?

Amouage Asrar attar is one I'd recommend, but it's difficult to get.

Arabian nights by Jesus del Pozo (I hope I got the spelling right) is another.

There's also one of Arabian Oud's Woody series which has saffron, it's most likely the intense or the style...

Lists for $30, but is ridiculously good and smells like it costs many times that. Certainly better, more authentic-smelling than Montale or Xerjoff.

I finally settled on Xeroff- Gao for a saffron/oud combo, the saffron is incredible in this one.

In Montale, I get a lot of saffron from Aoud Lime (though as usual Montales have gone through reformulations so who knows).

Gao is the one for me.

Although there is a plethora of other notes, Nishane's Musiqa Oud is a very nice Oud Saffron

+1 here. Asrar is amazing. a rose/oud/saffron masterpiece.

and MFK's Oud is, in my opinion, the perfect Oud/Saffron fragrance. can't believe the OP doesn't like it. i can't believe ANYONE wouldn't like it!

Montale White Aoud. I don't find it so close to Dark Aoud that you couldn't justify owning both - especially if you already know you like Montale's oud note.

My favorite is the affordable Ferrari Essence Oud; a very nice, strong and lasting (mainly) oud-leather-saffron-rose combo where the rose is (fortunately) very soft.
Lasts all day and really gives value for the money (€60/100ml) imo!

For what its worth, these are both really powdery, feminine leaning rose-aoud combos. If you like the bitter stink of a rose+aoud like Oud Ispahan, then you would enjoy these. I felt Oud Ispahan smelled like a sweaty grandmother, as did the Aramis Rose. Ferrari Oud was marginally better.
I can provide decants of anything I post about!
