Quite different than I thought, but delicious! It's more gourmandish, and the suede leather description many has mention is spot on.
It's quite unique, and I can't think of anything similar among other designer scents. -But it reminds me of something I have smelled in the niche world. I just can't remember which one..

Aaliyah's note list reads like a "Buysblind's Top Ten" so I couldn't resist (vanilla, suede, sandalwood, violet, jasmine, amber, mandarin, lavender, and mint). At the very worst, it might be sort of pedestrian. I also had a little thing for Aaliyah many years ago... How can I lose?

New month, new fragrance budget

My first foray into more than sample-sized By Kilian: Incense Oud & Rose Oud from a splitter here and a practically free, barely used, full bottle/presentation of Cruel Intentions from a very kind and generous friend who did a 180 on it.

I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to splitters and generous folks here and everywhere. Your actions and efforts have far-reaching effects that go further than just helping people enjoy/experience fragrances that they might not otherwise. Can't put a price on that.

I think I would be perfectly happy with this being the last full bottle purchase I ever make. We'll see if that holds up.

I think any. 75 is enough for me for the rest of my lifetime.
I'm nearing the end I think, and I have probably close to 200 samples, maybe more.
Its possible I'll fill out the only brand im interested in collecting after all this time, Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier, but we'll see.
Im not much of a collector of entire houses.
