After reading some great reviews on the re-issue, I got a bottle for a very good price and sprayed it on today. I need to wear it a few more times before I have a firm opinion on it, but I liked how "natural" and green it smelled. I also especially enjoyed the prominent smell of grass and hay mixed with a touch of sweetness that I'm assuming was due to the coumarin. What I enjoyed most about this fougere was how green and bright it smelled, it wasn't like the rich/creamy/barbershop fougeres I'd worn in the past like Azarro, Rive Gauche, etc.
With that in mind, what should I look into next? I would love a coumarin bomb, but I'll try any green fougere that's recommended.
Have you tried Davidoff by Davidoff? A very nice aromatic fougere , pretty green IMO although not saying it smells like the Houbigant. Might be worth a try if you haven't already tried it.
