    Okay...

So to update this thread I looked over all the replies and found the predictions that actually ended up being discontinued. I might have missed some so my bad if I don't mention one you predicted that came to be. But here they are, with some comments.

I picked up 4 bottles from the Mugler site during a sale which I ended up auctioning on eBay for anywhere between $150 and $220 about 8 months ago, maybe a little more. It's still discontinued and fetching high prices. Great call on this one.

I'm not sure about the last two Armani's but I bolded the two in this group that ended up getting the axe. Essenza got discontinued about two years ago and supplies dried up by no less than a year ago. 2.5oz. bottles that sold for $75 now consistently sell for $125 and up. I actually had three backups of this that I decided to sell this year. I sold them about a three months ago between $110 and $120 and they went immediately.

Good prediction. It seems like most of them still are, even a few I was certain would be nixed (Givenchy Play Intense for example)

Still in production, but GLHI Cologne has officially been discontinued. I still wouldn't be surprised if the EDT gets it at some point. I think Sport will be the next one however to be halted.

Not sure what's going on with this one. Maybe it's discontinued? But they specifically produced Dress Code 2018 and 2019 bottles, so I don't know....

If I had to guess, it would probably take longer than 3 years for all of the above to fetch high prices. They're all sort of "cult following" fragrances, when compared to many of the others mentioned thus far.
I don't know that status on Savile Row or Or Black 2014. I know I recently bought Or Black for about $35 though, so that would not indicate discontinuation. And while I have a sealed bottled of Savile Row, I have no idea about its status as it's always really hard to find in the US anyway. I think it's still in production.

Something thats somewhat accessible, enough popularity, but not too much.

    Costume National Homme

How about something of high quality from a designer that nearly everyone has passed up in the haze of crap thats come out the past few years.
Something that probably hasnt sold all that well, and might be disc'd.

    Hermes - Bel Ami Vetiver

How about that banal hype fragrance everyone and their brother wanted to get their hands on and its been discontinued unexpectedly.

Van Cleef & Arpels - Midnight in Paris EDP

Something of supreme quality, but too low of a price where a fragrance snob wont take it seriously. Go ahead pay more later.

    Carven - Homme
Midnight in Paris! Discontinued for sure and now. going for ridiculous prices whether EDT or EDP.

BAV still seems like its in production but I really wonder about this one. It seems like the perfect candidate for a discontinuation. Then again, it seemed like that three years ago too.

    Carven Homme...seems likely.

Yep. All versions of it. Now there's just he EDP in the rectangular bottle...oh, and Boisee. But the original, the silver-plated front original, and Intense EDP all discontinued. For some reason I have like 15 bottles of Guerlain Homme. I have no idea why...they just sorted of got there. I don't see its price going up though, since the EDP is in production and pretty good.

It's funny: People were predicting Dior Homme Parfum in the beginning of this thread in 2016. It's somehow managed to hang on, as we know it's still produced in Europe, but not available in the U.S. It's so hard to find here in any regular retail or discount site that it may as well be discontinued, but if you're willing to pay a little extra for it, it's easy enough to get.

I do think the regular Dior Homme bottles without the "original" tag at the end of it will be dried up in about two years.

And Dior Homme Eau for Men is officially discontinued, locally and globally.

Carbone de Balmain for $30? Ouch.

This is selling for around £150 on ebay now. I wanted to try it but the price was just totally prohibitive. Wasn't aware it was ever that cheap.

I can see the prices for this being a short lived thing. Seemed to be more Jeremy Fragrance based than anything else. Same 'thing' with LNDLH. The reformulation is largely the same and there are better options to Invictus Acqua anyway. I would sell now if the prices are still good as I cannot see the hype lasting.

I actually like Invictus Aqua a lot, and the 2016 version was something I had stocked up on, mostly for backup bottles. But once they reached a certain price I sold them because it would've been stupid not to. I like the new version almost as much, so....

Yeah, no chance. Listing price isn't the selling price.
Right. And a lot of times they'll do this with a dummy account to make their own prices look better.

Yep, crazy prices for the Balmain. I was watching this listing a while ago: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Balmain-C...p2047675.l2557

Obviously not sure what it finally sold for, but my guess would be over £30. And there's, what, 15ml remaining? Maybe 20ml at a push.

It looks like there are some from sale in France for around £100. I'm not interested enough to buy it, but that seems less atrocious for anyone who wants a bottle.

Which Fahrenheit releases have been discontinued (32 / aqua / parfum etc etc)? I haven't tried anything except the original version EDT and obviously prefer the vintage versions. I want to try the other releases and thought I would start off with the d/c ones before trying what's available...Thx.

I do think the regular Dior Homme bottles without the "original" tag at the end of it will be dried up in about two years.

And Dior Homme Eau for Men is officially discontinued, locally and globally.
apparently axed from Dior.com even in Europe!

Officially Discontinued: Fahrenheit 32, Fahrenheit Absolute, Aqua Fahrenheit

Limited Production but still around: Fahrenheit Parufm (oddly, this is probably easier to find now than at the time when this thread was made. while still somewhat hard to find, it's more widely available at the moment than it's been for about two or three years).

Still in Production: Fahrenheit and Fahrenheit Cologne: I wonder how much longer the Cologne has. Maybe another year? I don't think it's too popular.
