    I haven't looked Diddy.
    Are there OG's out there?

Edit: I thought you said you had a 90's bottle on the way................

Yea I did actually and then I cancelled that because it turned out to not be the OG. I just have a bit of a decant left. There are bottles in the wild but a lot of suspicious stuff and a lot of stuff that is clearly 2nd gen. And then stuff that seems like it might be right is missing other stuff like bottom sticker or box... and it mostly isn’t clear enough for me to buy with confidence. One I feel good about will eventually come along.

    Yes indeed.
The fragrance is in the neighborhood of vintage VCA PH, Trussadi but less bitter. Add a bit of Feraud PH to them and you get closer.

Thanks Arun . It does tend to go somewhat under the radar but is an absolute gem which has barely any discernible deterioration to this untrained nose.

    A 6-pack of 7-1/2 ounce bottles of Florida Water (1892) for $20.

I'm going to soak cloths in it and put them over the intake vents of my air conditioning, so it smells like a voodoo princess lives here.

It's pretty good. Citrus-gingery with clove, a bit of bay rum vibe. And yeah, cheaper than Febreze.

I agree it's a great reference point, the parfum extrait is also really good.

I would say Creed Bois de Santal was also done really for a sandalwood based scent. Another excellent reference point as well.

It’s more or less a staple down south for helping to combat the heat. Not in every home of course. But athletes tend to use it to help cool down. And workers too. It’s refreshing in the heat. One good use - for company golf tournaments in the heat we take ice chests and put rolled up logo’d towels in it with ice water and Florida water. The players love it cause it cools them down and freshens you up. Pleasant smell as well.

Chanel - Egoiste (hopefully. and vintage?)

Can anyone give any more info on this one? I've never bought a bottle of Chanel second hand as I'm terrified of fakes. But I figure this may be a vintage Egoiste tester, which wouldn't be as likely to be faked, plus it's a 50ml which may be even more non-likely to be faked.

Is this indeed a vintage Egoiste, from how it appears? Rough idea on date?
