I have similar misgivings. This is a half-full 50ml "Parfums Corp." (1986–1993) spray bottle for $35. That's the right vintage at the right price, and probably all I'll ever need.

This was a cheapie two-fer, but I was mostly in it for Bandit, which might work for either or both of us. I don’t think either of us will care for Fracas; she’s not enamored of tuberose. But as long as it’s included, we can give it a sniff.

Only casually. The divine Mrs. S. isn't looking to expand her collection too much beyond what I've already added right now. So, while Amazone on her might be fun for me, I decided not to go there.

I love both of these in vintage. Bandit is unisex: a rubbery galbanum leather that packs a real punch. Fracas definitely leans femme: it’s an all-out overripe tuberose. For many, it’s the reference tuberose. The older the better, as the newer formulations are screechy. The vintage is much more natural and textural.

    Enjoy!

I have a Scannon production of Edition (still the good one), but never went after London. That one is usually too pricey for me to blind buy

I got lucky on the London; I made an offer on what was already a reasonable price, and the seller took it. The "first edition" Edition was also fair; almost all of what's out there is later stuff.

I suppose the current Blend 30 prices are in keeping with its scarcity, and they're still well below the haute artisanal frags, but I just can't go there right now.

Anyway, after the London arrives, we can talk decants. You may as well know as much as I what all the fuss is about.

I wasn't gonna ask and overstep all things considered, but I'll also never say no to either experiencing or debunking said fuss on discontinued vintages.

I got into all this in part because people on BN are generous about sharing what they have and what they know. If I didn't respond in kind, I'd be an ass.
