The original Opium, but not looking, picked up the 36ml EdT...speaking of weird sizes, it also came in a 69ml and a 105ml. And a 0.8oz in a slightly different presentation.

I have Opium PH already, the EdP in the blue plastic sheath/cover thingy. It's my benchmark for a masculine oriental, although for whatever reason I rarely wear it. Smells great and potent as all get out. I also have a vtg. mini of Opium PH EdT and they smell pretty close to me. The EdP is a little heavier and thicker, but once they dry down I find them pretty close smell-wise. At least close enough that if you find one or the other for a great price, I'd not agonize about getting the other. You'll be smelling Opium PH either way.

Two equally priced specimens, I'd probably go EdP.

I just pulled the trigger on a reasonable Opium EDT from probably 1990-ish. It seems like something I’ll really enjoy. Maybe I’ll grab some PH at some point.
FYI: I spray all fragrances on clothing, never on skin.

Expanded my deep vintage volume for Antaeus, unfortunately it's not enough.

I have a little one-ouncer of Ô de Lancôme and it's really good. Pathetic lifespan, though.

I've always thought it looked like antique engravings of the Tower of Babel you sometimes see in old illustrated editions of The Bible:

That's my understanding of the intent. Why, I don't know, unless fragrance is proposed as a universal language.

I know I just bought a GF backup, but this metal spray bottle from the Cochrane era was too cool (and too cheap) to resist.
