I have been searching this one for a long time. This is the original version, with the YSL logo on the bottle. The notes are written on the back of the bottle (it's a tester) :
    "Woody and spicy perfume" :
Vetiver, citrus, sandalwood, patchouli, oakmoss, rosemary, nutmeg

Two DHI are 2009 one is 2008

The DH is 2008. I have never smelled vintage DH or DHI, tomorrow will be a fun day after my shower.

I read here that people place vintage DH higher than DHI but after first reform DHI is better than DH... is this true? If so, why is it ebay sell 1.7oz DHI for 300, but vintage DH 1.7oz only for $150?

EDIT: In the store where I found these gems, they also had Armani Attitude! Like 8 big bottles of it and some small ones... I don't know if I should buy them too because I think they go for a lot on ebay...

So I was shopping for some dress shirts going in & out of the Saks, Holt, The Bay etc & mentally was proud of myself - there were many niche counters & The Bay / Sephora on the way had all designers etc - I was proud and happy that I didn't feel the urge to buy or go smell anything.

Then my family puts me down as bag in charge (yeah - same story, different guy - we're the watchmen inside the malls) - and of all places they put me in front of a bloody perfume store... Slowly I do an Arnold Schwarzenegger & pick up all the stuff & head in there apologizing to everyone in between...

I drop them & find the manager of the store & we start looking for vintages - in 10 mins, I was out, with around 220 spent:

2 X Eau de Rochas Pour Homme 50ml spray.
    1 X Jacques Bogart Witness 100ml spray
    2 X Carven Homme 50ml spray
1 X Carven Vetiver Dry 100 ml spray

And I bought 1 shirt in between all this...

One year older than yesterday, but I remain a vintage addict

Yesterday - lot of 3 Xeryus Rouge vintage 4ml minis - less than $10, how could I not? I finished off my vintage last year and all I currently have is a 100ml of the modern stuff. It's okay, but I like the vintage much more. I honestly don't love either version, but it's a unique one I like to sniff from time to time.

    Not all vintage I guess.
The French Line was an atomiser that sprayed all over and made a mess. I had to open the crimp to decant it out. Lost a lot of volume (the atomising gas I think). Now I have an EDP.

This is not what I bought today but rather over last 2 months.

    Very recent finds for me...
    Vintage 30ml L'Heure Bleue extrait
    Ocean Rain
    Montana Comore
    Vintage Panthere - Cartier
Eau du Fier - Annick Goutal
Dianthus - Etro - probably not considered vintage (?)
    Grain de Folie - Gres

Oh yes. In my good books.
It is similar to Aramis 900 in some ways. If you dislike 900 don't get this.
I like it better than Captain.
Please remember to get vintage version. The current one, like Captain, is suppose to be crap.

If you are in US, I can send you a sample.

I found a 5 ml parfum of Red Door yesterday for $0.99 at a thrift store. I was prepared not to like it, based on reviews, but what can I say? I do like it. I must be an "old lady." ;-)
