    Thanks Bavard.
I'm far from an expert regarding No. 5.
    I truly appreciate your comments.

I purchased Gatsby by Pacoma last night as a result of a sample shard by Diddy a few months ago. Thanks!

I just received these vintage Eau Sauvage bottles in the mail. They came with the cellophane still on the boxes. The 3.4 oz bottle even had a price tag of 16$ on it. I was aiming for bottles with the silver rounded cap on them but I suspect these are sufficiently old. If anyone knows if these predate the ones with the silver cap I would like to know. They smell wonderful.

The missing estimate 'e' on the boxesdefinately dates them pre-1980.
    They're beautiful! Congratulations, Sir!

I also received these Caron fragrances over the last couple days. I posted a few photos extra of the one Belle lavande in case anyone else is looking at box identifiers.

According to the indispensable Raiders of the Lost Scent, this bottle (batch code 693) is from 1969.
Wore a drop of the back of my hand to bed last night, I got no nail polish/spoiled vibe at all.

A nice big bowl of Corioli-O's came my way today.

I don't usually say this about a scent, but after smelling it, reading up on it's troubled history, anachronistic formula, and the fact it was JPG's last mainstream dance seemingly made to fail, and Coriolan just feels purpose-built to be a unicorn. Planned veneration?

    Oh yes Z.C........
    Fantastic acquisition.
I have a 100ml splash and a 50ml spray I bought for a song (the spray) as the seller broke the flip-spray mechanism.
In my 51-year-old opinion, it doesn't get much more elegant than this.
Stunning, and sadly doesn't get the love it deserves.

The drydown so far is like an aching violin solo. Beautiful and sad. This is the kind of thing I'd wear to a play or opera (if Phantom ever comes to Seattle)

Wear it on a cool, rainy Seattle autumn day.

Here is a bit of a rarity: Monsieur Zadig by Pucci, 1971.

    First of all, cool box!

It has been described as a Knize 10-like animalic leather, and I agree with this.

Unfortunately I am not keen on animalic leathers, so PM me if you would like to pick this up. I have siphoned off a few millilitres.
