Apparently there's also a men's gift set available:

One of my very first bottles of cologne was mustang by mustang. This stuff was stellar in my opinion. I received endless compliments on it, and the stuff seemed to last forever. This would be interesting to try, a definite will buy should I see it somewhere for a reasonable price

Don't recall ever having tried the original when it first appeared. How long ago did it come out?

    hednic,
Looks like the original came out in 2007. I would have tried this probably in 2009. I worked at sears at one time and they had a gift set after shave / cologne combo pack on a big clearance so I picked it up. I remember getting gobs of compliments on it regularly haha. I think I paid 15 or 20 bucks for the set.

Well, I took one for the team (yeah, OK, I know - it's hardly an Amouage or Clive Christian...) and bought a bottle of this - Ł5.00 ($6.00) it cost me!

First things first - the bottle isn't anywhere as high quality as the picture would suggest. What looks like a milled aluminum cap is actually a cheap looking chrome-effect affair with a jangly collar-type thingy which is trapped by the cap and isn't fixed to the bottle in any way. When I picked up the box I was sure that the bottle had broken due to the rattle it made!

As for the fragrance, well, it's not bad at all. It smells nothing like the original Mustang for Men. This is a softer, initially almost feminine smelling affair which, after half an hour or so dries down to a semi-sweet ambery, woody scent with a little of the spice and patchouli in there somewhere.

It has a very similar vibe to Everlast 1910 Original with which it shares quite a few common notes - orange, mint and grapefruit, cinnamon, leather, patchouli. It's quite loud and long-lasting and, whilst it doesn't smell quite as structured as the Everlast it's not too bad - especially considering the ridiculously low price.

Lord knows what the team who developed this were thinking though when it comes to matching the scent to the car - it really doesn't say this to me:

Well can't tell you anything about the perfume, but I own the original 50 Year Edition.

Original was ok, the version with light blue juice was a scrubber. Have no interest in this based on the quality of the first 2. Although I love all these top notes, there's a slim chance it will be good.
    My Ultimate Top 5:

    Fahrenheit (1988)
    Le Vetiver Itasca (2010)
    Burberry London (2006)
    Eau des Baux (2006)
    Arpege pour Homme (2005)

Oh good lord - you own that AND live in Florida. You are a lucky man! Yeah, I know jealousy isn't an attractive quality...!
