Pour Un Homme by Caron on a tall dude today.

Plenty of Sauvage though in the last few weeks that I am not bothering to post about these days...

The other day someone in my gym applied Aventus, but all I picked up was only scent trail, what a gorgeous smell! Made me want to wear it

Does second-hand count? When I visited the chiropractor yesterday, the person on the table before me had obviously been wearing Aramis. Even the little paper sanitary guards weren't enough to snuff that baby out.

I actually found it quite pleasant, but it did make me wonder what the people who follow me on that table are subjected to.

Same here in NYC. It is like a dress code for millennials here.

Mostly Sauvage and Bleu de Chanel here, until you move into bigger money spaces, then Aventus and Tobacco Vanille start replacing them. The buses are always loaded with random stuff and I've smelled most of the 90's staples there.

As unexpected and/or incredible as it may sound, Aventus a few days ago-during a schedule of running errands both at a few local stores and a few banks (therefore cannot differentiate nor precisely remember whether it was at bank or in a supermarket nearby).

Unless it was either an inexpensive pineapple based Aventus predecessor like Boss Bottled, Baldessarini etc. (also, it can less likely have been Lapidus pour Homme, since it smelled less leathery, less powerhouse, less honeyed and/or lower performance) or one of the many Aventus clones in all price categories, manufactured and retailed by various houses from affordable Zara to pricier Dua, it could have well been Aventus.

Since this Creed fragrance enjoys, even in my country and in spite of its higher price (but still within the average value among asking prices for a good Creed scent and not just on the gray market, even authorized resellers managing to negotiate occasionally discounted rates on this), both fairly constant bestselling turnovers as well as, while for now still quite limited, an equally increasing popularity and awareness/merchandising/sales promotion.

Ah yes! I smelt the Aramis the other day in the birthing place of Shakespeare - class. I reckon he would have dug it and spun a few sonnets about it!

I'm getting a fair few hits of sticky sweet vetivers of late - I always think of Cuir Vetiver and Prada's Infusion Line Vetiver.
Real tidy classic femme - I think it must've been something like No.5 - as I was surprised to see it sported by a relatively young lady a table or two away on the coffee terrace.
    And some over applied Ouds

Smelled Sauvage on a car dealer while I was shopping for a new car.

No. 5 on an old lady. Nice.
It’s tragic to think that heroic man’s great destiny is to become economic man, that men will be reduced to craven creatures who crawl across the globe competing for money, who spend their nights dreaming up new ways to swindle each other.

Got smacked with Montale Black Aoud this weekend when in downtown Bellevue. So did everyone else on that side of the street.
