Aside from all the Sauvage I’ve been getting whiffs of lately, Fahrenheit and Caron PuH most recently.

Actually caught some Diptyque Oud Palao on a woman earlier. Very bold move on her part. Cut like a hot knife through 1st Ave on the way to work walking up from where I commute in.

Plenty of Ombre Leather on this morning's commute. In fact so much that I feel slightly sick.

Then more Sauvage later on in the day which was actually a relief.

I am also getting whiffs of some ouds in town these days. Something like Indonesian Oud by Zegna but couldn't say for sure as I am no expert on ouds.

Young lady Heading to the office was wearing a heavy application of No.5 EDP and pulled it off brilliantly. The train filled with a cloud of golden sparkly champagne tinged florals.

When I got to work, a dishevelled younger guy In the elevator was sporting 1 Million. Maybe I am working in the wrong office! Though I have to say my corner of the office generally smells great. People wear Baccarat Rouge 540, Masculine Pluriel and some unidentified vintage mossy fougere often make the place smell great.

Interesting. I’ve seen a major push of Ombré Leather advertising suddenly appear here in the lead up to Christmas.
    1. No, never blind buy (I do, but do as I say, not as I do. I'm taking no responsibility for your fragrance gambling).
    2. Get them both. You're a Basenoter and you know you're going to end up purchasing them both eventually.
    3. Yes, it has been reformulated.

Haven't noticed the advertising here to be honest but then haven't been around much. I do notice it is popular amongst the ladies mind you. A lot of work colleagues are wearing it. Or at least I'm assuming it's OL.

A woman I work with is wearing a popular fruitchouli; almost certain it’s Coco Mademoiselle EDP.
My only regrets in life are the people I haven't stood up for,

I was out all day, visited a museum, a bar and marched through all the city centre. I also smelled Meharees, Black Opium, something with lots of ISO E Super and got several whiffs of some deep dark earthy deep purple-ish feminine perfume that seems very popular here, I wonder what it is. (No, I don't like it, but I still find it nice to get whiffs of perfume in the city).

Was recently in a meeting with a woman wearing Chanel from head to toe. She smelled great so I asked her what it was. Loyal to her brand, it was a Chanel scent, Bois des Iles. Amazing stuff.
Very clearly a case for corn flakes and classics

AdG at the supermarket. Perfect fit for the warm weather outside and the sterile airconditioned environment inside.

An older gentleman came into my place of work last week wearing BR540 and I told him it was ine of my favourites. He was taken aback that I knew exactly what it was.

A few years ago (again at work) a woman came in wearing a grey beautiful scent. I told her so and asked what it was. She wouldn't tell me but had a reusable promise with her ( the generic kind you take on holiday or leave in your handbag) and she gave me a spritz on my wrist.
After a couple of hours analysing it for the notes I could pick out, I got it.
I'd not smelt it before and out of all the perfume in the world, I found it. It was Epic (Woman) - Amouage.
I kinda hoped I'd see her again so I could tell her so but alas, I haven't seen her again.

Not a grey beautiful scent, a VERY beautiful sent.

Eau Sauvage Parfum 2012 on a hot summer’s morning here in the southern hemisphere. In the train. As much as I love it, it should be strictly for winter!

I think it's impossible to know and identify them all, unless you actually happen to smell the one you or a close person to you has worn!

In my case this is true. I usually can guess what family members are wearing, because I know what they own, but that's about it Thanks for trying to make me feel better!

    Never!

Although is never wear it on a warm summer day. My personal guidelines require the temperature to be under 20, preferably crisp and dry, so I wear it in spring and autumn too. Usually only one or two sprays from a decant, so probably a lower dose than the sprayer on a full bottle.

Smelled Lost Cherry on a woman at an awards dinner thing Saturday night. Also sat behind a pretty well-known celebrity and her perfume was projecting massive frangipani and ylang ylang eveywhere (she must've bathed in the stuff)- just couldn't make out the actual fragrance.
