This time not on the street, but did sense quite distinctively during a smaller scale, few participants New Years party some days ago a quite distinctive sillage/presence of Lancetti Uomo Concentree.
Which is kind of counter-intuitive and least expected, since this discontinued fragrance is hardly obtainable anywhere outside Ebay and even if it were not discontinued, it would hardly ever become an ADG, BDC style etc. bestseller and/or omnipresent special events, partying, socializing fragrance.

Identified Versace Dylan Blue on a colleague. As close as many of the blue fragrances are, the dominant shower gel note from Dylan Blue really stands out.

I smelled Meharees by L'Erbolario today, and it seems this scent is quite popular here - or maybe there is another one very similar to it and people are wearing both.

Seems like it’s as popular as Sauvage in some areas. Don’t know why as I thought the marketing campaign was far more muted than Dior’s

    Bahahahaaa.

I'm prepared to forgive fragrance faux pas' in the gym... what gets my goat is failure to observe basic etiquette. Morons doing curls in the squat rack, failing to unload and re-rack their barbells when their sets are done, intentionally dropping the barbell on a heavy deadlift to call attention to themselves (different to legit grip failure) and general dudebro dickbaggery.

Not unloading the bar or re-racking your weights is the sin that I find very challenging to forgive - it's all well and good for a big healthy trainee to receive the apparatus in such a condition because they can fix it with minimal effort.

But what about trainees who are very young, or physically small, or on the elderly side, or recovering from an injury or sickness (or flat out training whilst injured)? How about people whom more than one of those conditions apply to?

Forcing someone else to perform the equivalent of several work sets worth of work just to use the effing equipment because you're an inconsiderate douche canoe is a move that fills me with the burning fury of a thousand suns.

Sorry for the rant, but this is one of my pet peeves. When it comes to the gym, I don't care if you smell wrong as long as you act right.

LOL. I’m one of those guys who drop the barbells. But not to call any attention at all. I hate this. I drop cause the floor of that section of the gym is rubber coated and it makes almost no noise. I won’t force my spine to put the barbell on the floor in a movement that’s pretty ergonomically bad just because it will make a very low noise. When we are in the end of a series it’s difficult to put it on the floor with the spine erect, so imo it’s much better to just drop it next to the floor. The rest I agree completely to you.
Around two weeks ago I got really angry on any jerk that didn’t unload the bar and left a mess around the place he/she was working out. It’s not very usual there. One thing that is annoying is people who won’t decide if they will solve things in their smartphones or work out! Oh man! It takes me to the moon and back! It’s like: “This is my private gym.”

I feel you dude. Unless I’m thoroughly gassed I will strictly time my rest periods... partly to push my performance and control my heart rate... and partly because as you say, it’s a shared space. Waiting for someone on the phone and dragging their rest out is the seventh layer of hell to me.

And safety first, for sure. If you don’t think you can RDL the weight to the ground safely, drop it, especially if you’re using an alternating grip. The amount of potential lumbar twist that can creep into deadlift form from an alternating grip is just horrific.

With a hook grip and pulling for reps I feel safe performing an RDL to the floor, but everyone is different. My rage was less about the noise and more about the peacocking. A gym is supposed to sound clanky

Here it’s known as Lynx Africa and it is indeed the signature stench of unwashed tool squeezers.

I honestly don’t think I’ve met a person who wore this that I haven’t wanted to punch.

Back on topic... technically I recognised this yesterday when passing some high school kids.

Basically the only thing I can identify on people is Sauvage if I'm honest. Even over Christmas. I would struggle to separate the Avenutses from the Chanel Allure Homme Sports. Fleeting impressions just aren't enough for my internal catalogue to catch up and clock what it is. And on womens' fragrances...no chance.

Over Xmas, Sauvage by far the most frequrntly, and I think Black Orchid in a bar.
