Thread: The Harmonist

    Default The Harmonist

Any comments about this line of scents? They have an online store and retail shops in Los Angeles and Paris. They ask for your name and date of birth to find a personal scent.

They retail for $285-$305 for 50 ml. The theme is Chinese medicine elements and yin/yang. There does not appear to be a sampling program.

Had not heard about this company before. Thanks for sharing the link Primrose.

Oviatt, thank you for the review. I hope they have some means of allowing sampling.

Resurrecting this because in Italy I happened to see the line. I only tried one, Sacred water. A combination of stereotypical synthetic masculine materials, dihydromircenol, metallic-ozonic stuff, and more (luckily, despite the description, I did not detect much calone)-not my cup of tea at all.

    Hi Primrose,

I met the Harmonist at Esxence ó and they gifted me my favourite. (Magnetic wood) I like the green, slightly metallic woodsy sent. The sprayer is one of the best Iíve ever used the mist is so fine and you can control how much comes out. The bottles are refillable so the refills are much much less expensive.

I tried the line at Barneys a month ago. A nice line which tries to copy the vintage style. But at the price I would just buy the vintages.

Golden Wood sounds pretty nice. But at $6/ml, their prices are beyond my cost-per-mil limit for EDPs.

They do make some really nice, quality scents. Very expensive, though!

I would probably recommend this house at that price.
Hopefully they will be at the discounters soon.

They used to have free samples and you just had to pay $15 shipping total. Now that samples are $18 each, I wouldn't say its worth it to try.
