Myself? I happen to like the clean look that skinny jeans affords someone with a lean body type. I'm not skinny by any stretch (5'8" / 170 lbs) but slimmer arm holes in shirts and sport coats along with trim jeans.??? It's a good look. Most of my Italian sport coats look exponentially better than anything else made by JCrew or Banana, which are tailored for the American markets. Slim jeans and a nice pair of chelsea boots. Great look IMHO.
    Agree wholeheartedly!

501's for me, and that's about as slim as I go for jeans.
The rest are way too uncomfortable for me, and look awful on me.

I do however like the slim-fit slacks, and they work for me. Go figure.

I tend to stick to "slim" jeans. I don't like the look of them painted on. I like to wear Nudie Thin Finns, Mavi, and sometimes N&F. The Nudie and Mavi jeans are incredibly comfortable for me.

Seconding the opinion that if still comfortably fitting in spite of a skinnier cut/tailoring, then and only under this condition, a very reluctant yes

If one is slim and between 18 and 30 skinny or slim fit are the only option to not look ridiculous.
Mind you I'm talking about the brands that not necessarily aim at that age group.

Btw do you find opinions (or advices?) like "too skinny is a no go" or "too loose is not ok" to have any substance? It's meaningless. Too loose is exactly the amount of material that is excessive. 'Too much or too little anything' is not ok. That's the idea of the word 'too'.

I voted YES, but mostly for women. I think some younger males can pull them off, too, but I don't like to see them on older than 30-40 "slim- warrior" type males. *hides*

Hi there, I have heard in many cases that skinny jeans affects blood circulation.

According to me, wearing too skinny jeans is not good for health and also it does not look good.

I don't like super skinny jeans, but I do wear skinny jeans and chinos. Not too tight, but tapered and forming a nice silhouette; definitely not so tight as to reveal the crown jewels and the royal scepter. Slim and regular fit pants just look baggy on me since I'm so skinny. I do love skinny jeans on women, but I'm also a big fan of the new trend towards "dad jeans" and bell-bottomed or flared pants for women too (women can wear almost anything and look good tbh).

Yes for those of us who look good in them. I prefer to wear leggings & jeggings which are ridiculously comfortable and highlight my long, athletic legs and tight butt.

I can’t live without them. I love wearing them under my vintage sweater dresses with chunky belt added.

I've been wearing straight slim jeans from Express. They're not tight on me but they're not baggy. They're a good fit. Skinny jeans, however, are too thin and tight for me or for any guy, IMO. But slim straight? That's a good look.

If you are under 30 and on the leaner side, yes. Younger women usually think it looks good on men. Personally, I don't like them. I prefer a straight or slightly fitted cut. My girlfriend really wants me to wear skinny jeans, but they keep me more "restrained" than I would like.

Skinny? No. Well-tailored and tapered? Absolutely.

Tailoring isn't exclusively for suits, boys.

    This.

Well-fitted jeans look good. Jeans that make your thighs look like tightly packed sausages are a no-go (for any gender, I'll add).

The trick is, conceal to reveal. We don’t have to flaunt our tight or flabby bodies, if we don’t want to. Or maybe we do.
I like wearing flouncy tops with tons of jewelry to keep the eye interested while moving away from less favorable body parts, as I’m pear-shaped. For me, it’s about proportion, texture, and movement always.
