Arrow "French Musk" Artificial Fragrance Oil?

Hey guys, I was thumbing through one of my favorite formularies, this morning, "The Magical Formulary," ed. by Herman Slater with many of the formulas created by one Clinton Steven. However, in the infamous formula for SATYR OIL, which includes ambergris oil and civet oil, as well as a form of synthetic music oil that I've never come across thus far called, "French Musk Oil." Has anyone ever encountered a bulk supplier of fragrance oils that supplies an artificial "French Musk" fragrance oil?

Galaxolide is toxic. Studies show this fragrance chemical may interfere with hormones and other chemical signals in our bodies, which can result in developmental, reproductive, metabolic, brain, and behavioral problems.

This is such an irksome thing to say without further qualifying and clarifying information. At what dose? For what prolonged period of exposure? The same could be said of thousands of chemicals (both "natural" -- whatever that means -- and synthetic) that you are exposed to on a daily basis. Guess what else "interfere[s] with hormones" in our bodies. Soybeans. Soybean oil can have an extremely estrogenic effect on our bodies. Soybeans are toxic.

    See the silliness there?

I think the OP has disappeared back into the shadows. We haven't heard from him in quite a while.
