    Default Best Accidental Layering Discovery?

So I am testing some fresh scents for upcoming summer and I put TF Venetian Bergamot on, thinking it was weaker I am getting ready for bed so I sprayed my nightly frag spray (for my own enjoyment) tonight TF Amber Absooute. I thought it was gonna overpower the Venetian Bergamot to the point I couldn't smell it.

Well WOW, just wow, I didn't think I could layer anything with AA, this works so well, it still smells like the best of both fragrances but they are enhancing each other. I haven't had luck layering like this before. Seriously need to get some Venetian bergamot now.

Any of you guys have dumb luck like this? This might make my AA wearable in the summer! (AA is one of my all time favorites)

Nope, but glad you found the winning combination!

I am not a fan of layering......that being said, I accidentally sprayed on Great Jones when there was a good amount of Midnight in Paris left over on my skin and it was really nice

Ormonde Jayne's Zizan + Isfarkand. They compliment each other pretty well IMO.

I rarely layer, but on a whim tried one spray This Is Not a Blue Bottle + two sprays Aventus. It's since become a favorite combo!

So far, only by accidentally layering Yves Rocher Eau de Cedre Bleu and Dior Homme- while liking the first, less favorable about the second, yet personally perceived the end result of this combination as awesome

Try TF Noir (EDP) and Bvlgari Man in Black. Crazy powdery incense drydown that bears no resemblance to either frag.

Congrats on your layering success. According to several TF SAs I've talked to, the private blend collection, while great alone, is encouraged to be layered.

They actually have specific recommended layering combos and have a chart out there for SA's to use

Once I accidentally sprayed a 2015 version of Aventus on top of a 2011 batch of Aventus.
    AMAZING!!!
    It smelled like Aventus.

I do not believe in layering and avoid wearing more than one scent a day to avoid such. As an artist I trust other artists to present a completed piece. I would never add graffiti to a Picasso sketch for example.
    1. Epic Man by Amouage (29 wears)
    2. Leather Oud by Christian Dior (27 wears)
    3. M7 by Yves Saint Laurent (22 wears)
    4. Oud Imperial (black) by Perris Monte Carlo (21 wears)
    5. Russian Tea Ritual by Masque (17 wears)
    6. Fate Man by Amouage (17 wears)

This doesn't actually add anything constructive to the discussion.

On topic, I put some Ultra Male on forgetting that I had used Kouros a few hours earlier. It worked surprisingly well but I haven't been tempted to risk it again

Allure Homme Sport with Allure Home sport Eau Extreme. I do it just about every time I wear either of these two. Works great in the Florida heat. Also, by mistake, I put Aqua Di Parma Leather on top of Aventus. OUTSTANDING.

AHSEE by itself is outstanding in warmer weather, I can see how that combo would work well.

Lolita Lempicka au Masculin (or even LLAM Intense) over Fahrenheit Parfum works very well but I didn't discover this accidentally - LLAM and FP have a shared liquorice and vanilla notes so I tried it out and got lucky.

I sprayed AdP Colonia on top of 1 Million that I had been wearing for a while already (lightly) - smelled great. A tiny little bit of 1 Million really enhanced the citrus in the Colonia. Certainly not a 1:1 ratio of course - more like 4:1 Colonia:1 Million. Worked really well IMO.

That was my point too. You only quoted part of my post and not my Aventus layering discovery, nor the emoji indicating a joke.
