    Guerlain, hands down.
Not just for the fragrances in their million different strengths, vintages and presentations, but also for the history, evolution and influence of the house.

It would hurt to manage without L'AP, though. No Skin On Skin, Amour Nocturne or Dzing!

Honorable mentions go to MFK, Editions de Parfums and Annick Goutal, all of which feature heavily in my rotation.

A while ago I would have named someone else but the more time passes the more I think that Lorenzo Villoresi seems to encompass all the best qualities I would personally expect from a brand - from all point of views (quality, consistency, approach, independence etc.).

It used be be a toss-up between Guerlain and Chanel for me, but between reforms, recent mall goo, and the whole EDP changeover in the LE line, I am going to say Serge Lutens.

I used to answer with Hermes to that question, but now...
    - If I want some designer classics, I'm fine with Hermes
    - If I want some exclusives, I'm fine with Chanel
    - If I want some niche variety, I'm fine with L'Artisan

I'm currently into collecting vetivers, and I can't get that from a single house.
    From Wardrobe: Collection Whish List

    Chanel Sycomore, Bois des Iles
    Hermes Vetiver Tonka, Osmanthe Yunnan
    Christian Dior Vetiver, Oud Ispahan
The Different Company Sel de Vetiver, Bergamote
Ermenegildo Zegna Haitian Vetiver, Javanese Patchouli
Elie Saab Essence No. 6: Vetiver, Essence No. 3: Ambre
    Boucheron Neroli d'Ispahan

To live with only vintages, I mean just to be in the past, then Balenciaga, men or women, pre-coty.
If to go with hopes for the future as well, Miller Harris.
